I just finished it today. Super fun dual stick shooter. The story is hilariously thin ("Lovecraaaaaft!"). The game does start easy, but then it decides to put you on your ass in a way I wasn't ready for. I really enjoy the mech mechanic. The buildup and unleashing of the mech has a Mario invincibility star feel to it. In the continuing tradition of using cliches to describe games, It's a "really good one of those".

Just watched the Gamescon presentation. The game is coming together well.

The Kinect "demo" videos looked just like this. I'd be shocked if it does a third of what this video depicts.

The way it sounds to me is its like if your friend told you he was taking you to the biggest arcade ever. You'd be pretty stoked about that. He says they have thousands of games for you to play. You get there and find out all the games aren't very fun. Your buddy says "but this place is huge! Nobody else has this!"

If 99% of the time you're just a set of combat hands on screen, shouldn't the combat be.... better? I may enjoy the heck out of this game, but it sounds like this guy's complaints are pretty valid.

Do I wanna play this game and get pissed or watch Brad play it and laugh? Hmm...

The timing of the release is terrible but I'm all for something that makes the 3DS more comfortable to hold. It's too small right now and makes my hands cramp.
