I really dislike Maria's double jump in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, as you can't control its trajectory.

After "This is the Run" for Contra: Hard Corps, there were three more videos released under a "This is for Fun" series. If you navigate to one of their pages, such as this one...

https://www.giantbomb.com/shows/this-is-for-fun-contra-hard-corps-part-01/2970-11481/

...the carousel that appears is for Contra (rather than Contra: Hard Corps), and the "This is for Fun" videos don't appear in the carousel. Is there any way of appending the videos to the end of the carousel for "This is the Run" for Contra: Hard Corps?

Nah, it's not Audacity. It's a program that he, after putting everything through Audacity, would just drag and drop the file into in order to clean it up further.

I seem to recall Jeff mentioning that there's a free program that he uses (or used to use) in order to clean up the Bombcast audio. I don't believe that there's much in the way of options in the software. I'm pretty sure that you just drag and drop the audio file into it, and it does various things to clean up and/or normalize the audio file. I don't believe that the software is updated anymore, nor has it been updated in a long time.

Anyone remember the name of this software?

EDIT: @brandondryrock found it.

Levelator. I use it for my podcast as well. It is really nice.

Swery expressed interest in a PC version during a recent (I think it was recent, anyway.) interview, citing mod support as something he'd love to see. He did, however, state that he'd need to receive the appropriate backing in order to make a PC version a possibility, though.

@azurath: Just watch the whole VJ one and then at the particularly crazy parts watch the other ER for brad and ryan's reaction. The deadly premonition story goes places for sure.

You actually raise a good point here. As much as I love the VJ one, I must say that I enjoyed certain parts of the BR one a bit more (namely the scene that takes place in Becky's bathroom).

That's a song from Deadly Premonition I believe.

Edit: Anyone having trouble embedding vids from youtube? It keeps saying that it doesn't recognize the link. I thought it might be because I have it as 'https', so I removed the 's' and it still wouldn't accept it as a valid link.

Ah, I didn't recognize the track because of how Vinny seemed to improvise on it a bit. That was way too easy. Thanks for the help, everyone.

Definitely worth it. I still re-watch the VJ Endurance Run for Deadly Premonition on a regular basis. I've set up playlists for both of them on YouTube, though. (The playlists that were already in place were missing vids.)

Playlist for Brad & Ryan

Playlist for Vinny & Jeff

The VJ Endurance Run is so much funnier than the BR one. Also, the BR one can almost seem like a bit of a drain at times, because Brad just seems to be suffering so much while playing the game (and he tends to not recognize very basis patterns in the game play, making it even more frustrating for him). He continually denounces the game. Vinny seems to get the most enjoyment out of the game, and even Jeff and Ryan get a kick out of its flaws.

Throughout the Endurance Run, Vinny occasionally hums (or otherwise recreates) a specific music track. I'm kinda curious as to what it is, since I'm wondering if it just happens to be from another game that Vinny would've been playing around the time of the Endurance Run or if it's from something else entirely. You can hear it in the following video at around the 50-second mark.

I'm using an HTC 8X to listen to podcasts. The only way I can get podcasts that behave like podcasts onto it is to get them from the Zune Marketplace. I'm really hoping that this is fixed soon.
