Yet another homeless GAF member. I have been a premium member from the get-go here, but rarely visited the forums. Ironically, I learned about GAF from an early bombcast where brad and jeff made reference to the site.
The problem occurs when a session starts online and then xbox live service is interrupted. This happened to me several times last week. By clearing the cache, I was able to get one of the achievements which was completed to unlock, but then I had to repeat about 45 minutes from a previous save to get a story mission achievement and fully upgrading a stronghold achievement to unlock. I believe that Volition (or a representative) has commented in the SR forums that they are aware of the problem and that a fix is forthcoming.
i am checking back in after a few weeks. i was able to get a single sync completed about 2 weeks ago - since then [crickets][/crickets]. a small update from the admins sure would be nice - perhaps (as i had mentioned before) a notice on the achievement page stating that the powers that be know it is broken and it will be fixed/is being fixed.
FTR - the majority of people coming here for info are paid members.
@WilliamHenry: the number of paid subscribers that want videos through their boxee/roku box is probably small. achievement synching has always been an important part of the community on the site. a notice on the achievement page would be nice.
removed and added my 360 account again - this time capitalizing the first letter. still no update to my achievements. steam does not update either. disappointing.
Another request to fix achievements. XBox is straight up broken - I had not had any updates in 6 weeks. I deleted and then added the account and now no update is occurring (yes my profile is set to public). My steam achievements will not update either.
It kind of bums me out that this continues to be a problem - if it is beyond fixing make a note of it on the achievement page. Look how many premium accounts are posting on this issue (at least 5 yearly subscriptions and one monthly) on this page alone.
