I'm holding off on a lot of indie games so I can play them on Vita. That's going to be awesome. Rogue Legacy on the train.
Yeah, I've actually been holding off on rogue Legacy on the PC because I had a feeling it would come to the Vita/PS4, seems like a game that would work well on the Vita for sure.
So many great looking indie titles. Sony clearly has big titles coming out of their triple A studios next year, they don't need to shove everything out the door at launch or show all of their cards now when we still have the VGAs and TGS this year still.
Still drooling at the thought of a Shadow of the Beast reboot. Hopefully we see that in 2014.
Wait, did you not look at the "trailer" which had a few clips? Looks shit, as expected but hey, they gotta have MP. Now it already can't compete against current FPS games but when you add Titanfall to the equation, it becomes almost humiliating. I guess FPS multiplayer is a very competitive genre.
Looks like Sony will be shipping the PS4 controller in a red or blue variation sometime later this year. Went ahead and cancelled my black extra controller, gonna be rockin' that red one for sure.
Game looks markedly better than it has at any previous showings, you can tell when it launches, it's going to be an eye candy provider if nothing else. If they can bring back the MP love they gave KZ2, this could very well be huge this holiday for online gaming.
All of the screens can be found here. Couple of my favorite:
Great conference, cannot wait for more info on Shadow of the Colossus. Minecraft and Twitch stuff was also pretty surprising, but good on Sony for getting those. Also a ton of great looking indie titles, some of them at launch that were unannounced before.
System interface looked great, fast and responsive, and the touchpad typing is a great addition to the system.
Also good to see Ubisoft able to show off AC4 again after the crash at E3. Won't be a Day One buy for me, but good looking game that I'll pick up down the line. Watch Dogs, on the other hand, will be Day One, super excited for that one.
Sheer amount of games, indie or not, made it one of the best shows in awhile. That Shadow of the Beast teaser, holy shit, one of my Amiga classic favorites.
