The main point of the game? Have fun. Do you really need a quest log to guide you through this game? This game is an RPG - it's open ended, and besides, the main quest is kind of ish anyways. Go explore, maybe go raid a dungeon or two. The game is yours to play, you don't have to be on it's leash unless you want to.
Age of Empires 4...the second one was absolutely fantastic, the third one was...alright, but yeah, I have to agree with suneku here, this series got me into RTS and introduced me to it, the second one was an amazing game, and the multiplayer only added to the great fun it already was.
Call of Duty 4 - Amazingly great fun, customizing classes, gun skins, all that, although, the killing is the best part, so are the airstrikes.. Team Fortress 2 - A really fun game and innovative which promotes teamplay. You won't see many games like this. Counter-Strike - Community is childish, game is fun. Just stay away from the community at all costs. Also, it's very easy to suck at this game. Just a heads up.
Grid is an amazing game, it's innovative in my opinion, and different from others. Many gameplay elements stand out from the others like Gran Turismo. Damage, reputation, flashbacks, all play a big role in the game, which is nice. Only thing is, you're probably going to need a steering wheel and a decent computer to play it on the PC. Also, I hear online play is full of rubbing assholes.
