Deus Ex 3: First Details Surface

Full Post: HERE.

I am a huge fan of the Deus Ex series and even really enjoyed the second game, which wasn't regarded too highly among the press and fans alike. I remember when Deus Ex 3 was first announced I felt ecstatic that the series was still alive, but worried since wasn't a part of the project. Finally some real details on the game have arrived and things are shaping up to satisfy...well, at least satisfy me.

What do you need to know? Well the game is going to be a prequel set in the year 2027 and you play as a normal (like you or me) security officer for a technology lab. The rest of the story hasn't been detailed too much, but it's being written by the original writer (from Deus Ex) so I think the game is in good hands...

LittleBigSausage. Wait...What!?

Original Post: HERE.

Well I have gotten a taste of LittleBigPlanet and so far it has tasted very sweet...below is a short video of my first hour with the game and first few minutes (condensed into seconds) with the creator. Enjoy my sausage.

Pizza Hut = Masters of Pasta?

I really hate this commercial for many reasons, but the most apparent reason is the fact that these people supposedly think it's a fancy Italian restaurant...and they order "Mac & Cheese w/bacon". Maybe it's just me, but when I think of nice, traditional Italian/Sicilian cuisine...I don't think of that.

New Podcast Up: DF28 - Atrocious

Episode 28 is now here, a week late due to technical douchery! We discuss Soul Calibur IV, the new Burnout Paradise bike pack, Duke Nukem 3D, Infinite Undiscovery, Star Wars: TFU, and much more...A little mention of Pushing Daises, Chuck and Heroes. Some Gamestop hate and the usual shenanigans.

...and Rob loves the word atrocious, a little too much...

Bikes + Night = Doesn't Feel So Right

Original Post: HERE

It's nighttime and we've got motorcycles prowling down the street. Sounds so very cool (doesn't it), but I find myself rather disappointed with the new Bikes DLC for Burnout Paradise. I feel that "disappointed" may be too strong of a word since the pack is 100% free, but at the same time I don't find the game any more enjoyable with the added content.

My biggest initial complaint with the bikes is the fact that there really isn't an emphasis on the crashes. Many times you don't even see the bike crash after a wreck; the screens just goes black for a second and then jumps back to you on the bike. It makes racing with bikes easier because they lack the penalty of actually crashing. Another big difference is the fact that bikes don't have any boost at all. I understand the reasoning due to their already insane speeds, but it just makes the bikes feel even more out of place.

They give you a lot to do with your new wheels and you can play as a woman, but that just means you like pink bikes with rabbits on them. You start out with 2 bikes and two more available to unlock later, as well as 70 bike-specific challenges. Sadly I find all the races to be extremely easy and not challenging in any way. You could crash a dozen times during each race and still have plenty of time to finish. Bikes aren't the only addition however; Day/Night cycles have been added and can be adjusted from 24 minute days all the way up to a real-time cycle. Playing during the night sounds cool, but it's relatively boring because the city is practically dead; leaving you with a bunch of empty streets.

There is no reason for you to skip downloading this new pack, but you shouldn't be expecting anything extraordinary. Though I may be disappointed with the new pack, I will never say no to "free".

New Gamertag.

It has taken a while and much discussion, but the new GT has finally been chosen. I am no longer Kush3 on XBL ...I am now, CannoliCrasher. All I can say is that I am finally happy to be done with all this decision making. I can now see what it's like to be president of the United States!

Is this coherent to anyone?

"You are not agree with Socrates "believe that one should be willing to give up their life for something they will never really be able to fulfill." But there are many people who would do everything for other person and he or she doesn’t have to be able to fulfill."
