Maybe the best way to do this would be to have Drew do the side-ops, free-roaming and base-building stuff on his own time, at his own pace, for fun, and make Metal Gear Scanlon 5 just the story missions. That way we can see him go through all the typical Metal Gear insanity, but let him enjoy on his own what makes MGSV really different from the other MGS games.

I just loaded my helicopter with two and a half minutes of Paul Harvey talking about farmers.

You don't need to be an MGS fan to really enjoy MGSV, in the same way you didn't need to be a Witcher fan to enjoy Witcher 3. Being invested in and familiar with the lore behind what's happening can add an extra dimension to it, but if you're not, the game does a good job of recapping what you do need to know in service to the gameplay, which is stellar.

It's a big dumb game about big dumb kaiju monsters wrecking cities. All they have to do is rip off Pacific Rim and call it a day.

But there are no giant robots. What if the Rock plays himself in the movie, and their answer to the Rampage monsters is to somehow blow him up to monster-size?

CONFIRM

Pretty sure I said "what the fuck Johnny nooooooo" really loud through delirious laughter at more than one point...

Bonus: All this shit happened with the goddamn Squarespace logo ads plastered behind them, this stream was the best on so many levels lol

I wonder if Squarespace knew what they were getting themselves into with this one.

To try and accomplish this task, Fenady reached outside parties. He reportedly contacted Microsoft to help crack West and Zampella’s passwords, but Microsoft refused to comply without a court order.

Wow. I can't believe Activision tried to something so evil that even Microsoft refused to help. That's like losing the moral high ground to a Sith Lord.

That's still not as pathetic as WoW's desperately weeping orc peon.

Remember when every game used to do this when you tried to -exit- it? "Don't go; the drones need you. They look up to you." "I wouldn't leave if I were you, DOS is much worse."

At least MMOs want our money; old games just wanted us to starve to death playing them.
