Normally I don't care at all about our fine friends at Giant Bomb not playing optimally or even playing badly, because this is Giant Bomb, not esports or speedrunning, but it's infuriating in this series as Dan's deliberate bad play for jokes is ruining this run for Abby and Alex. Abby got her first soldier killed when she was still figuring out the game, and Ellen died because of XCOM being XCOM, but Vinny and Alex died here because Dan was constantly putting them in bad positions.
Best one yet, dan knows what hes doing and they got awesome chemistry alone.

He absolutely does not. Even when he's not deliberately playing terribly, he was constantly running people into places that were clearly marked as flanked. So either he doesn't realize or doesn't care that a red shield means you're probably going to die.
Any time Austin comes back around is a pure delight. He, Alex, and Vinny were a perfect trio, and he gets along with Dan amazingly well. I suppose his time as a teacher gives him the patience to deal with Dan.
Also: I sent that email about Super Mario Sunshine into Waypoint's podcast and now after watching this I have THOUGHTS about Fight Club, but I will refrain from sending an email to anyone because if I send an email every time an off-hand comment on a livestream causes me to have Thoughts all of my free time would be gone.
Solas is the worst. Even to Elven Inquisitors. Maybe especially to Elven Inquisitors. I played as an Elf lady and he keeps his bullshit just enough under wraps until you get deep enough in a relationship with him and then it gets super fucked up. I kicked his ass to the curb and shacked up with Iron Bull, who really was the right answer all along.
