*I enjoyed playing as a Cop (Crown Vic FTW), basically Takedown mode from Burnout but with a tactical element thrown in with Roadblocks, Spike Strips, etc.. *AutoLog is a great feature, one of the first things I did was check out my friends times and try to beat them.
Cons: *Playing as a Racer wasn't anything new. *Graphics are so-so
No idea on how the Multiplayer plays yet, wish we could have tried it out. I'll play it wait and see for now.
Stop playing long ass RPG's haha, take a little time for the short but sweet games (Splinter Cell: Conviction, Metro 2033, Alan Wake, etc.) and you'll get through more.
Luckily I never read into the pre-release hype for the first 2 games so when I did play I enjoyed the hell out of them. I think I love the subtle humor and serious effects of player choice most about the series. It's a little on the casual side gameplay wise (well Fable 2 was) but it's solid and fun to play. I keep hearing how much bigger Albion is in Fable 3 which is awesome since one of my favorite things to do was explore.
P.S. I can't help but be the good hero either haha.
So far this year I've played Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero & Halo: Reach.
Out of those 4 I'd say Mass Effect 2 is the winner by a mile. I absolutely loved the first game too.
Pros: *Better Graphics *Frame Rate problems were pretty much non-existent *Superior cast of characters *Side missions were actually pretty exciting *Quick-Time Actions Cons: *Resource collecting, I preferred the Mako to Planet Scanning. *Too many ME1 reunions on Illium, I just felt they threw them all in there for the sake of it.
Halo is my favorite gaming franchise. Halo 1 was the reason I bought an Xbox back in the day, insane amount of time staying up late having LAN parties with friends. I loved the campaign so much that I bought the books to help with the agonizing wait for Halo 2. Really got attached to the fiction and Halo universe by then and while the sequels never had that "special" feeling I still played them to death too. I LOVED Halo Reach it had a lot of great fan service and the ending was indeed amazing but I agree with previous posters they could have done a better job of fleshing out Noble Team. Only deaths I felt something was Jorge and Kat's.
