@ProfessorEss: fully agree, the different types of game play really make Halo Reach work so well, I also enjoy the fact you now have more then two games to decide from at the start of matchmaking.
I have to admit im not as big a gamer as I use to be and that may be due to getting married (insert funny face here) and this is my 2 blog on Giant Bomb the first one being about some tosser on Xbox live, so please excuse me being behind on the whole Halo Reach thing. So Halo Reach is it better and as ground breaking as the games before it…in a word no. Is it still a good game! Yes. I have to admit after playing the demo I was not overly impressed and thought that I would just by pass this game. So I managed to pick it up for a ten pounds, after trading in a few games and where the story mode is a little weak in places I found myself loving the multi player mode, being able to buy armor gave me a reason to work for the credits rather then just boosting up my rank. I did not miss a thing from Halo 3 like the duel weapons; I think they would be pointless in this game in honesty.
I have been enjoying the modes and new maps, SWAT can be a pain in the ass, but nothing is more satisfying then getting a triple kill with head shots. As much as I enjoy that I personally think that this is not the best game “story” wise for the Halo series and wished for something with a little more punch for my buck. I found the button lay out to be a pain, (yes I did change it back to the Halo 3 settings) so where some parts of this was weak, it was worth it for the Multi Player alone.
So anyway that was just my thoughts, nothing to in depth (read into that what you will) just thought I would share.

But yeah I don't think im being egotistic if I say that some people block you cause your to good or that you killed them the most that round. its annoying but sad.

I think that’s my main point, the review system is bull, I have 57 percent at the moment and most of that’s for being over aggressive and for trash talking, but I never wear a mic unless im on with people I know 0_o.

so lets get into the rant, I was playing Halo 3 social Slayer happily last night, you know shooting away, I turned my mic off and just chilled playing. I have to admit im not a ranked type person but im not cr@p at the game, anyway here we where in Valhalla and all was going well I had the sniper and got a few good kills and then went off with my BR before getting my head blown off by the laser hiding over at the other side of the map near the Gatling gun. So over all it was a good game so far now ten mins before the end some one tries to splatter me in the Banshee and of course as most people would I hijacked the shit out of it. Now with ten mins to go I deiced to kill a few people (5) and then I got taken out by a warthog and that was the end of that or so I thought. Now we won the game and afterwards I got a voice message saying I should learn how to play Halo without the Banshee and well I ignored it, i had a grand total of 18 kills 5 of which where in the banshee! Of course he submitted a player review about me 0_o.
But is this just a sore loser or is the Banshee of limits to "true gamers" that said I only rally used it as someone tried to splatter me and failed, but is there a unwritten rule that we must not use certain things with out being classed as a noob especially when you have been playing the game for awhile or was this guy just a cock?
I play them for entertainment much like most of the gamers out there; I like a game with a good story and a fair bit of action. There is no other form of media that lets you rule world, face down an on coming horde with a few of your mates while gun fire rains down on you from everywhere and at the end of the day if you die you simply respawn. In all honesty it fun as hell sometimes to blow a limb off your friend, or that satisfying pop you get from a head shot from time to time. I play simple because its fun XD.
