They can hype this all they want but if it still ends up being the same way as the first one, as in people jumping in games with hacked items/guns, the whole playing it to begin with will be pointless.

Don't get me wrong, I had fun with the first one but the game not really having billions of guns ( I think the actual count was between 8 & 12 ) was pretty weak. I know you can't actually have billions of guns in one game but considering they were using cell graphics and not trying to be realistic, they could have done so much more on that front. Like for instance, having the ability to switch out different parts of guns with other guns.

Pistol barrel on a shotgun stock with a rifle scope? Sign me up man!

This game was promoting crazy from the get go. If they had just went wild with the combat and weapons and not just the characters and setting the first one would have been epic. Now will they do something to this degree with the sequel? Probably not. They'll probably give us the same ol' same ol' of "Well, we couldn't do that this time around, blah, blah, blah..." Developers do this all the time just so they can keep the series going up until part 38 or so... if it even lasts that long.

I'm waiting on a review for this one folks.

I really hope I'm wrong though, I would love to see the vision I had hoped for the first one be all over the second one.

I'm not pissed at the ending, just confused.

I, like many others, would like Bioware to explain everything to me. Especially that weird scene after the ending that doesn't add up. Well, unless they were being money whores and eluding to the DLC that's down the road. That's just sad.

This whole chapter of Mass Effect feels like EA had more of their hands in the cookie pot, the other two games felt more solid. The story always felt like it had plot holes in it but come on, they never dropped the ball like they did at the end of 3. Hell I was expecting like 3 or 4 disks this time around since there were so much side events left over from the other two.

What ever happened to that psycho path from 2 that sent you an e-mail talking trash about carving your name in other living beings and his? I was expecting that and other drop offs from 1 and 2 to be side quests and all we got was another scan BS time waster for our troubles.

If this is truly Bioware at their best, then the fact that Bioware isn't the company they used to be continues to disappoint. Especially after Dragon Age 2. That was a sad attempt of a game.

I liked how they fixed her teeth in 3. She wasn't perfect enough.

I thought Saints Row: The Third was way over hyped. Don't get me wrong, I liked the game and it was crazy as hell but it seemed like they just threw it together and gutted most of it just so they could sell content packs online. I loved the first two even though the second one was just rehash of the first, so I waited until I could buy that one cheap.

This one sold me just on the trailers alone so I was very hyped from a "I should have just waited for the review" angle. Although that wouldn't have helped since everyone was busting a nut just based on how crazy it was. Again, I agree it was a fun game but it didn't seem like a Saints Row game. Everything was so goofy that all the deaths of major characters that happened didn't make sense and felt odd, especially in the beginning when a certain character dies and I was 8 hours in before it finally occurred to me that character wasn't coming back.

They tried to use the same system as before but it didn't feel right since gaining areas by defeating gangs didn't produce the same results as the others. You still have to acquire the city like the others by taking sections however since they consider all the gangs as one huge gang it just felt like Volition couldn't come up with anything new, so in the end the old system was used in place of something they should have thought up for the third one.

I'm a Saints Row fan from the other two, while the games were silly to some point they still had some seriousness of thinking of your gang as a family and while you're still a heartless thug for the most part, when people from your gang would get offed there was some weight to it, now having most of your gang killed off without any serious reflect just felt off and didn't seem as though they didn't put any thought into this game at all. Hell, Carlos' death in the second one had more impact then a certain characters death did in the new one. He wasn't in the gang for like five fucking minutes and BAM it was over. How they kill off someone that's always been a staple of the series and you don't even seriously consider that until hours in is baffling to me.

I guess what i'm trying to say is while I liked Saint's Row: The Third, had I known about all those issues before hand I would have waited for it to be on the cheap like the second one and not wasted $60.

So here's the deal Bombers, unless you're new to the series or just don't give a fuck, wait for this game to be on the cheap. That is all, have a nice day!

I'm surprised the series lasted this long.

If not for Left 4 Dead they probably would have never thought of the premise for this one and stopped after the second one.

That's o.k.

They'll make up for it by releasing ridiculous DLC that doesn't suit the game which is probably already in the game anyway just like RE5.

They may also just wait and release 3 or 4 more versions of it just like they do their fighting games.

Oh Capcom, you and so many other developers are so behind the times.

So.

Does that mean that one free Arcade game that Microsoft released years ago, in good faith to prove that they aren't money grubbing tyrants, is $1 now too? I wonder.

Although I doubt that SuperGiantGames are actually getting any of this, it's probably so Microsoft gets some kind of funding out of it. If anything they will get like 3 out of that 80 points because hey, it's Microsoft we're talking about. In fact I wouldn't be surprised that all 80 points are for Microsoft.

SuperGiantGames wasn't intending to make anything off of this hence the word "Free" right? Then the Microsoft Giant showed up and was all like, "We're a fucking Billion Dollar downloadable service bitch, they no such thing as free 'round here. You got that!!!" So the 80 point charge was agreed upon and all was well in LIVEland.

I'm sure J. J. Abrams had something to do with it.

Seriously, that dude loves Lens Flare.

If it's one thing I took away from the Star Trek reboot, other than its awesomeness, is that Abrams loves lens flare.
