playing that with a 3dfx card back in the day was crazy, i remember having bugs and snow fly at the screen, seemed unreal then i played it recently and it was awful. Better as a memory
I've just been watching the elder scrolls live stream videos and realised i want to play oblivion again, i played originally on xbox 360 and may as well play on pc now but since its such an old game i know there is a lot of graphical mods available
Overall i don't think the top ten was too bad really, i really enjoyed tomb raider, and i'm playing puppeteer right now so they'd have had more of a shot than they did.I think everyone let dota 2 slide though, just because one person plays it religiously doesn't in my opinion mean it should get into the top ten when no one else had any opinion on it other than Jeff watching the internationals
, i blazed through that game in 2 days then i got to the last level where the guys keep exploding. I tried it twice and i haven't gone back in around 6 months. I loved that game but just have no inclination to actually finish it for some reason.
Far cry 3 definitely has a longer story it's just gets a bit boring towards the end, i found doing all the outposts and wanted dead missions fun though so that makes the game longer. Tomb raider's story is stronger in my opinion but i felt like all the collectibles stuff was fluff and filler. i'd probably say Far cry 3 was a better game for me, the customisation of weapons and the stealth mechanics were good. Both have hunting in them but Far cry 3 made it actually have a point, and it was more fun as opposed to collecting "scrap" like in Tomb raider
i dont think the season mode races always tally up with the event mode because ive had it offer me events on tracks that shouldnt be available, so id do a load of races and it wouldnt mark them off the event list
gotta just go through all of them really, its what i started doing a few weeks ago, up to july 2008 as they are so long and havent got loads of spare time
