@therealturk: I'm also going to add that the green titled abilities you buy on the abilities tree need to be manually added to your abilities manually on the skill menu. I guess I forgot that was something you did in the previous game and I forgot about it in this game.
@ripelivejam: based on where you live some Doctors just look at you like you have the flu. This is purely anecdotal but where I live they aren't really testing people(maybe because they don't have enough tests to go around), they're just telling people to stay home and if it gets worse to comeback.
@cyrusraven: Same here, I was dual swords guy last game but now the Odachi is my go to. I'm currently using a really nice gold Spiderblood Blade and I can see myself upgrading this till I find something better. No Clue how many hours I've put into it so far but it is pretty good. Going to play around with the switch glaive a bit more to see if I like it but the Odachi Over head smash is such a guard breaking monster.
The actual combat looks good. Everything else around it like the UI, some of the level design and the platforming looks like it is made by some other company other than Id. I can see the direction they are going and I hope it pays off but if I'm just not feeling the jumping puzzles and the icon barf.
@humanity: I sort of had the same experience. I've always wanted to do a cane play through but I always just end up going for a strength build. A cane that turns into a whip is such interesting and elegant weapon but it simply doesn't have the stopping power that you need against things that charge at you. It was also first weapon I picked up in the game the first time I played and got destroyed several times by the cleric beast. I started a new game and on the second time around killed it the first try with an Axe. Maybe some day I'll do a cane play through.
Nice! As someone that only plays solo games nowadays I've been looking at this game constantly and thinking about trying it out as a solo game. Hope they add player bots in addition to the Bosco bot as the game gets developed.
I know some may disagree but I feel like Satisfactory might benefit gameplay wise if it had an optional hurdle(optional for people who want it)that pushed back against your progress. I'm not saying it needs an army of ants that are attracted to your pollution sources but something that you might need build defensively against.
Building special walls to keep out animals that break or steal items from the conveyor, electric fences that keep large grazing animals from crushing buildings, turrets that scare away large alien birds that chew through power lines and steal vehicles. Things that make the alien worlds your in seem dynamic instead of easily paved over.
