Yeah. Rebel FM(Nick, Anthony and Philip's new podcast) is a huge success(was the #1 podcast in America. or maybe #2. Somewhere up there... Beat This American Life which is a pretty big deal) Geekbox Radio(Ryan, the GFW Radio, Sports Anomaly and Legendary Thread crews) new podcast is on its way.
Talking Orange(or whatever they end up calling it) is coming from the 1UP Show crew(new Video podcast to take the place of the 1UP Show) this Friday according to them.
The idea that even in a time of recession that the gaming community could collectively muster $23,000 in ONE WEEK(and that is all that has been reported. God only knows how much Ryan and the Geekbox Radio guys have gotten)... only the gaming industry could pull something like this off. And this should be the news story talked about by national news broadcasts, rather than discussing the downsides of gaming... Focus on just how tight knit and close the gaming community is, even across State and even International borders. Focus on how much we stick together despite all the internal fanboy wars and disagreements over which system is better. When it comes down to it, when we are called upon, we deliver like no other community in terms of support for each other.

1Up has been bought by UGO (a terrible "videogame site" with poor qualtiy content) who promptly fired most of the staff as they only really wanted the domain name. They were sold because their owners Ziff Davis are a bunch of incompetent, financially unstable morons who do not know how to run a business.
On top of this Shawn Elliott and James Mielke have hinted at horrendous treatment of staff and incredibly nasty, underhanded stuff going on around the time of the sale

The podcasts are dead. Garnett basically confirmed on his twitter that the Holiday podcast(one with the Giant Bomb crew) was the LAST 1UP Yours. 1UP Show is dead(considering all the guys who worked on it got fired). LAN Party is dead because Tina is the only regular still left at 1UP. 1UP FM is completely dead. Shane is gone. I even think Garnett basically said that there will no longer be any podcasts on 1UP "video or otherwise." 1UP was basically killed by this.
They certainly made the "good move" by spending money purchasing 1UP only to completely destroy it in a matter of hours. /sarcasm
Nobody is left. What the heck do they expect to come from that website when NOBODY is left?
Not to mention as said above, Shawn Elliott says he "Hopes someone spills their guts on how horribly this whole thing went down."
Crap..... now I need to find a bunch of new podcasts. I listened to/watched 4 1UP pocasts on a regular(FM, Yours, Show and LAN Partyt/GFW Radio)
I bet the Giant Bomb guys are pretty bummed for the 1UP staff that was layed off.
The one good note is at least 1UP Yours went out in style with the massive 2 part holiday podcast with guests from all over(Giant Bomb crew included)... 1UP Yours was definitely as good as it got in terms of gaming podcasts. Now, the Giant Bombcast has taken over that mantle. Will you be up to the task? PS - Hire at least one of the 1UP guys. All of them are great writers and great personalities that could make Giant Bomb that much better.
woops... meant to edit but i deleted thanks for switching the image. Bug uploaded wrong images and one of them got stuck as the portrait image. Mods have deleted all the images that were uploaded by that bug.

It will be a full DVD release with Voice Acting and a very deep storyline. If you are talking about the image above the Overview... That is actually a Demigod image that I am waiting for the mods to delete... Stupid bug caused the wrong image to get uploaded...
What a difference a year makes. This time last year, sales of PS3 games accounted for only $13 million of EA's total net revenue. But this time this year? PS3 games account for $139 million in sales. Which is a 969% increase, and is miles ahead of 360 sales, which "only" made the company $81 million. Don't bother asking us how this happened, we have no idea. As for the other systems, the PC was the second-biggest earner at $86 million (perhaps contributing to EA Sport's about-face), with PS2 sales just behind the 360 at $79 million.
