British Indie music. Though it's not really "indie" anymore, the genre means the same. Stuff like Arctic Monkeys and so on... Though I have quite an eclectic music taste, I have a bit of MGMT, Dizzee Rascal and even Mr. Blobby on my iPod haha!
"There has been very little trolling and the spammers are located in the Off-Topic forum, they should have a spam forum so people can talk all sorts of smack there and whatever. "
"Maybe it's too early to pick people out, I mean, the place has only been going a day or two? Surely posting about being mods just makes you look desperate to impress teh adminz and thus makes you a less likely candidate. Actually I stated I don't want to be a mod. Wouldn't have the time for it because of work, and not really interrested. But I still think there is a need. But yeah, maby it's waaaaay to early. Didn't think I would get flamed for this thread, just thought it was interresting topic :)"
Yeah, I didn't mean to necessarily criticise you - just was putting across my opinion on the situation.
"They aren't concerned with putting all of their manpower towards cleaning up the forums at this point. Day 2 and they're worried about: Glitches Bugs Bandwidth Script errors
They will do what is necessary; give them some time. "
This guy speaks the truth. We're all "Baby Bombers" as he said yesterday... This is really a kinda beta isn't it? Surely ironing out the major problems before grabbing a ramshackled mod crew is the best idea. If we all ignore spam and trolling, they go away - I know it's hard for most to actually do, but look the other way and let shit threads sink.
