@grantheaslip: There were a number of things in LiS that just stayed with me for days after I finished it. Something about it I just really clicked with.
@slag: You know this was my first go at one. I really liked it its like nothing else I've ever really played. Like I have no clue how I'd actually describe it to someone who doesn't already sort of know the premise. I've been interested to possibly try some of the older ones now. I do think they added the first game to the PS One Classics on PSN. Might have to dust off the PS3 at some point and try that out.
I really did enjoy 4 though. Setting up stuff like this was tons of fun.
This is the Radiolab/Invisibilia episode Samantha talked about featuring the person who felt they switched between being male/female. It was a pretty interesting episode. Both Radiolab and Invisibilia are great shows/podcasts.
I'm sorry but I can't agree with Dan on this one. This games entire selling point is the immersion of being in a star wars battle. That hoth fight was the first time I ever actually felt like "Oh shit this IS the battle of Hoth" and not "I'm just playing the battle of Hoth"
I don't think I'll be getting it mainly due to having my plate way to full already and getting back into FFXIV but I'd say from the little I played in the beta it seemed like one of the most refreshing shooters in a long long time.
@xerseslives: I don't play online either. I think the actual game play is great this year. The only glaring problems I have with it are content ones like the lady wrestlers having only 35 hairstyles vs the mens 100 or so and the way that the physics system still glitches the fuck out in crazy ways.
Its my favorite one in years and I've played pretty much every WWE game since the smackdown 1 era.
