Tell that to Juba. While I am by no means condoning his actions, when he was active, he was putting a tremendous amount of psychological stress on American soldiers in his area of operations. While I am not inclined to put any weight behind his claimed number of kills, he is a propaganda tool after all, he easily took twenty lives of his enemies despite being surrounded and incomprehensibly outnumbered by one of the worlds most technologically advanced and well equipped militaries.
No, a violent civilian revolution in the western world is not a reality. But it is the threat of force that keeps the government in relative check. There is a reason that Obama and a democratically controlled House and Senate are not proposing an all out ban and seizure of non-sporting firearms. While there are the votes on Capitol Hill to pass such a movement, they know good and well that any attempt to seize such firearms would result in a local guerrilla conflict in several parts of the United States. I would not want to be part of a government enforcement team sent into parts of West Virginia and North Carolina in response to such a law.
I did not see the original video, but it now states this content was removed by the request of Activision. There might have been more truth than you guys are giving credit for.
