I wish I didn't... Somehow I occasionally find myself playing crappy games for the achievements and avoiding good games if they have very tedious/hard achievements... Even though my achiement (trophy) completion rate is only around 40%

Not really anything special...

the most exclusive is probably a signed vinyl of the shatter soundtrack (0038/1000). For the rest I don't know... maybe the Pipboy 3000 alarmclock (don't even remember how I got that pile of chinese malformed plastic) and signed bastion soundtrack. Oh and just the TRI-fecta of pure shittyness in gaming: All three Zelda games on CD-I and as a bonus also Hotel Mario.

Outside of gaming though...

Very happy to own all three of the Lord of the Rings complete recordings (which is a rarity) and owning both the Alien and Predator dvd heads.

@choffy

: This works just fine, as I have been subscribed to both EU and US plus from the start (yes... I know). You just need to create a US PSN account. For the address just search for hotels in states that don't apply taxes to digital goods, saves you a bit of money. You can't use your creditcard as far as I am aware, since it is linked to a different address. You can just add money to your wallet using paypal on the webstore or buy some with added service fees :( on eBay.

Just make sure when you buy DLC for your plus games, this has to be on account you received your games.

EDIT: Misread your question, but it also works vice versa.
EDIT 2: Appearrantly PayPal does not work since you can not use it when your account is not located in the country of purchase. So your only chance is to use 3rd party pre-paid cards.

I own a CD-I.... there you have it.

I even have played all the zelda (or LINK as you will) games and Hotel Mario.

And there are some games on it that I do not consider bad, actually kinda great, as Lost Eden (together with Journey at the top of best Gaming soundtracks) , The Apprentice, Lucky Luke: The Video Game and some few others.

It's so easy if you know it but hard to explain.

1. Ko as in Cock

2. ch as in... well I only think German words have this sound (and some Dutch words come close... so why not put a video here. It's the first option she explains.

Edit: Koch as rhyme to Loch is close but the proper pronounciation of loch would end more to mixture of Lock and Log.

Thank you guys for your kind words and advise. I realize now that I had more emotions than I thought I had writing this piece... He's not dead yet, this isn't time to start grieving already, but a time for hope. Maybe hoping for him to get better, maybe for him not being longer in pain. like said 96 is quitte impressive and all was going well till around 8-10 years ago, after that decline was very rapid (alzeihemers disease) and though he might no be the bright man he was before he faired well against the other "patients" I've seen at his group. Which maybe led me to believe my grandfather was indestructible...

Now I just have to wait till my parents respond and know some more things.

Thanks again. Also for the people who are afraid of jerk opinions... thats just the reason I came to strangers... there is no right way to feel about this I see nnow, and your posts are helping me as much as every other one does.

Hi guys (and gals),

So this is something diffferent. I don't know how it flies on these boards, I don't even know why I put this here. Maybe just to vent...

So an hour ago my parents called me, the message was straight forward and not to long:

My grandfather (96) is hospitalized and according to the doctors (heared from other relatives) It is a question of days... if even that. It's the last of my grandparents (never have known the ones from my mothers' side) and I haven't seen him in a year... feels so stupid now.

I don't know the specifics and neither do my parents (on their way to the hospital). Somehow it makes me feel like a heartless jerk. Ofcourse I cried, but I have the feeling that I don't feel enough emotion. I have a history of putting emotions aside as a way of a defense mechanism, but this just feels wrong and pathetic.

What is not making it better... I'm currently not in the country (From the Netherlands, on internship in Hungary) but will go home within 8 days. This feels so long now. Obviously I want to be there, but even I can manage to rebook my flight, it is still the question if it will be in time to see him alive. To make things worse... next week is the last week of my internship. failing next week (with my end evalueation and documentation) will result in failing my internship.

See what I mean... this blog is about me again, not about my grandfather.

Anyways... just do what you want, comment or don't comment. I feel this is a better place to put this than facebook or the like, I can't sense if peoples reactions are genuine or that they respond just because thats the way it is supposed to be.

Updated the blogpost to reflect the latest changes (read: FIXES!)

Biggest dealbreaker left is the fullscreen aliasing, but since I also got a lot of distortion on most, but not all, YouTube video's (seems to be the same issue) this could also be hardware issue. , maybe it is a possibilty to make another "help us, help you" thread, to gather as much information to help and isolate the problem, since it does not seem to affect all users (of which a large group possibly has 720p dispay resolutions, but still...)

ALSO QUICKTIP FOR HTML5 USERS!

A lot of you gave feedback that they cannot hide the playerbar when using HTML5. Move your cursor on top of the Full Screen box, et voila... the bar is gone, though the full screen button will still be displayed.
