I think it's best to use Gamefly in the summer when there is a lot of free time (if you are in school) where you can play a lot of games and since the summer is a dry time of the year, you can play older games that you have missed.
I would say Skyrim however the PS3 version is the most screwed up version so I would wait to get that...I really am enjoying MW3 and I thought I was burnt out from COD this year but it is pretty fun! I haven't tried Saints Row yet but I think I will get it when it is a little cheaper and when I don't have so many games to play.
I would also recommend Dark Souls if you are up for a difficult but fun game! Just know that it is a challenge and you will struggle at first but it is very fun otherwise.
It is actually great to get some new opinions in the bombcast as well and Patrick does a great job expressing his opinion. I am very, very happy qt how the bombcast is.
During a boss fight in the College of Winterhold quest, the boss just kept destroying me in like two seconds with his lightning attack everytime the battle started. I died like 20 times and then stayed all the way in the back of the map just shooting arrows at him the whole time (at the time, I never used arrows besides the first dragon fight so my accuracy and damage was low). After about 80 arrows and 15 fire dragon shouts, i finally killed this asshole from the back of the dungeon and then proceed to whack the shit out of his ashes and crush at my tv for how long that took. May not be cool for everyone else but somehow I felt like a winner!
I truly believe Giant Bomb's approach to reviewing with the 5 star system is a much better way to review a game because if you break it up more than that with 10 point scales and breaking into the decimals, it is just a grade and in the end video games are about how fun a game is and not if one game is better than another...that's when the GOTY discussions come in.
