They should remaster CoD1. Got such nostaligia feeling when Drew played it on UPF.
That was such a classic LAN game back in the days. Me and my friend used to play 1v1 sniper battles on the snowy, big russian maps (we loved Enemy at the Gates) when everyone had gone to bed in the early morning.

@sackmanjones: Heard he started his own site to do short video essays. Or did he go to Vice gaming? Or did he move east? No he went to do Youtube, that must have been it.

@moonshadow101: OpenBionics does real bionic prosthetics too. This is probably just marketing thingy or a first test. For once marketing money goes to something accually good and cool. A step above things like Fallout 4's Pip boy or Watch_Dogs "iconic" cap.

@anjon: Have you played the new one?

As you said most of the things that seemed jenky in the video seemed like things that was jenky in the old game until you got better at the game. I have been looking for someone that enjoyed and was good at the last one to see if they find the same depth in the new one.

If it is anything like the old one this really is a game you get good at so I hope Brad don't take to hard on not nailing all jumps this time. Hope they still have the replay system, Brad could learn a thing or two from it. Like not missing every single wall run there was...

This looks awesome! One of the few IPs that hasn't been ran into the ground. And even better, they seem to have understood what made the first one great. Let's just hope the level up mechanics doesn't limit you too much.

Btw, the European name of the game is "30.48m Robot Golf".
Might not sound as catchy but right units are important.

People are weird. First they don't want VR gimmicks like Kinect stuff, they want proper games. Then on every game with even a few traditional mechanics that probably could be mapped to a traditional screen they ask what this gets by being in VR. People, if you want things only possible in VR you'll get gimmicky things. Especially now in the infantcy of the tech. Games can be mapped to a buch of different controls and screentypes.
For example Airmech I don't get how anyone could ask "What does this get by being in VR?". For me it is obvious. It is a whole new way of presenting a RTS map. Sure it could exist on a normal screen but if we though that way we would never move past the most simplest way of presenting something. What we don't need is devs pushing "VR-stuff" into everything like they usually do with gimmicks. What we need if for them to work out how to map interations into VR. Maybe some might never go well in VR but it is the experimentation that is important.
