One could say that it's strange to be affected so terribly by the passing of someone one has never met in person, but when I consider how I've seen or listened to that person for several hours each week for the past 6+ years, I can't help but feel like I've lost someone who I will definitely miss.

HOLY SHIT! I just found out about this through Jeff's tumblr and got super excited! But then I heard about Dave leaving and got super sad, but then I heard he has a new child, which is awesome! It's a freaking rollercoaster over here, man!

I searched everywhere for a solution, but none of the methods I found for subscribing to private feeds worked (they might still work somewhere else, but not with Giant Bomb + Google Reader).

I wonder if it would be possible for the top men to publish an additional rss feed only for subscriber videos with links to their respective GB page (instead of a direct link to their files, of course). This is similar to what this feed has, but it would only list the premium videos so subscribers who don't use itunes can at least know when new premium videos have been posted on the site.

I even considered making a yahoo pipe with the site mashup feed and then filter all the stuff that is not premium content (i.e. block quick looks, podcast, articles etc) and maybe share it here, but I gave up on it when I couldn't filter trailers because most don't have the word "trailer" on their title.
