I'll be happy if it comes to a console instead of a handheld. I read a thread a while back (on Atlus USA forums I think) where a lot of people were speculating on a DS or PSP release for P5. I love my DS but really want to see the game on a console. Sorry no link to the thread, couldn't find it. Heres what think: - Persona 5 on PS3 or 360 = ecstatic. Persona 5 on Wii = begrudgingly happy (I'd have to plug the bloody thing in again) Persona 5 on PSP or DS = not angry , just disappointed (but I'd buy it day one anyway) How do you guys feel?
Podcasts are what matter to me now. Review scores used to matter to me in the days before the internet (and Quick Looks) when I used to get all my info from magazines. A Video game was something I would get for a birthday or Christmas present and I'd be stuck with it. A reviewer could write a damning review of a game, give it a low score, and I'd think "Yeah, That's not the game I wanna be playing for the next six months." But I used to go to a friends house play said game and really love it. These days some reviewers will mark games down because there are elements of it they don't enjoy. Biggest example I can thick of is "Random Battles" in JRPG's. Some people hate them, I don't, but lots of reviewers do which means they score the game less. I can now look at loads of reviews online but the main thing that will get me interested in a game is to hear a discussion on a podcast or watch a "Quick Look" on Giant Bomb. I can hear / see what they like, what they don't, and decide whether or not to invest.
Laptop = never Desktop = not as often as I should. I've got an Antec 900 case which is good for airflow but the fan over my cpu (i7 920 @ 4ghz) and my graphics card fan (Ati 5870) suck in more dust than a freaking hoover! I've got filters on my case intake fans now and hoover the front of the case every couple of weeks to get the dust off them but I really should take the side panel off and give it a good clean. Trouble is, longer i leave it, the more scared I am of seeing how bad its got. Oh well time to bite the bullet I guess. Thanks for the thread, you've given me the kick in the ass I need to get it done!!!
" I'll believe in religion, once religion can remain consistent with its message and stops contradicting itself and killing other people. Until then I'll just wait and see if there is a god when I die. "
Believing in religion is a whole different thing than having faith in God. Different religions have different messages so of course all religions will never be consistent. If you think they ever will be you are sadly mistaken. Do I believe some peoples religious beliefs to be wrong? Yes I do. But I don't dwell on it, I get on living my life the best way I know how. If it means turning the other cheek I will try to.
Well I'm 28 and although I grew up in a family that aren't religious, these days, I am. 10 - 15 years ago I would have told anyone who started talking about religion that I was an atheist. As I've lived more and experienced more of life I have been in some pretty bad places and had one instance a few years ago that totally changed my perspective in life. I never shout my beliefs from the roof tops, don't go Church very often, but I do live my life slightly differently than I use to because I believe in a higher power. I am far less likely to talk about a religion now than I was when I was an atheist. I think that's because I'm just a more easy going person now and I think when I was an atheist I would be more likely to comment on the subject of religion, so there are probably more Christians on the boards than people may think. Also I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people change there beliefs as they grow older. Whilst I might not agree with them now, I respect other peoples beliefs, but when you totally bottom out in life don't be surprised if you get some help from an unexpected source. ;)
