I would recommend the CM storm sirus 5.1 headset.

It's very durable (at least it feels that way)

Sound quality is quite nice after a bit of tweaking.

Haven't had any complaints about the mic either.

This might have been a bit of a late reply, hope this helps!

I feel your pain about these fuckers constantly breaking (went through 2 corsair headsets in 6 months)

Well, the galactic readiness has nothing to do with it. All you need is 3100 EMS to see all the endings. (Reduced from 5000 something) Hope that helps. Also they recommend you start with the assault on the Cerberus base.

Hey now I'm swedish aswell, and i say "hur är läget?" (wich means is basically the same as "how do you do?") 
Alot of my co-workers (and friends) say this also. 
 
And for me its really just a way to be polite. Then again, I wouldnt mind an honest answer.

Every combat situation that i found difficult i just went for the riposte counters constantly.  
They do not get interrupted and do alot more damage than a regular attack. 
 
Also dude, use those bombs!

It was merely to check if there was something really obvious, like errors with the sound driver or whatever. 
If something was wrong I think you would see it. 
  
Have you checked under the device manager that there are no conflicts/missing drivers there?  
 
Have you checked that your card is not overheating? (i doubt this since you are having problems with video aswell) 
 
My guess is that this is driver related, wich is why i might suggest you clean sweep your graphic drivers and resinstall them.

You can try 3dmark or furmark. 
 
Also run dxdiag and check if anything looks wrong. (Run -> Dxdiag)
