@JJWeatherman: For some reason I thought of the Adam Sandler movie being made in 3-D. I have no idea way.
That aside, what program did you use to make this? While I could probably could make a box with it (maybe) I like having programs that I can't quite use yet.
I guess it's a good thing for Blizzard that I am not surprised in the slightest when they support the community. I looking forward to the next couple decades of Starcraft updates.
Everything someone wants to be art is art. The idea that something being art is somehow a measure of quality is just an antiquated notion. Art cannot be good art or bad art but simply art that is of good or poor quality. It is still art. If somebody makes it, it can be art. Ignore anyone who tells you otherwise, they have no real argument.
The whole idea that there exists "high" and "low" art feels like it's just the old guard protecting their possessions from the common rabble. People use art as a status marker and a sign of sophistication for some reason that I will never understand. Am I better than you if I like 2001: A Space Odyssey and you like Die Hard? Would everyone be debating if Roger Ebert had said Earth had no gravity?
I think it would be a good practice to the following from now on instead of starting a debate. Whenever anybody says anything is not art (not whether it is good or bad but whether it is art), pick up something nearby, anything will do, and drop it. If it falls then ignore them because there is no real reason (elitism aside) that they would be right or even making sense.
Yes, Steam is definitely the choice for PC games but it can't get me my 3rd inexplicable copy of Kung Fu. Also, seeing as most people get games from online or Gamestop I feel lucky that I have a decent store that's relatively nearby.
That was totally fucked up. I know as soon as they got back together I saw people joking about how they would die but I never expected it to actually happen.
I'm the type that likes to collect older games (older typically than what is found at a Gamestop) and was wondering where everyone buys their older games. I usually get mine online at Amazon or eBay because there are really no places nearby to buy games. The closest places to me are fairly decent sized comic book shop and a flea market that are both over an hour drive away.
I prefer to get games in person and they are roughly the same if not cheaper than what I could get for online (except for those game resellers at flea markets who just rip you off) and there is the added bonus of being able to look at the quality when I buy it and make more impulse buys. Where do you all buy old games? Is online really the main (or only) option or do I just live in a video gameless zone?
