I watched a few episodes of the anime and if I'm not completely misremembering it then they literally stopped right before it got crazy. Fantastic timing.
The anime was pretty meh (Obviously since I didn't finnish it). So overly serious when the premis is completly ridiculous. There was like no nod or wink to it being fucking stupid like some animes that goes super serious on a stupid premis. It was just tiring to watch. And the main character and pretty much every other character in the anime were annoying as hell.
I still get frustrated, 6+years later, that they don't realize that Jack Frost has Zio. I mean, they've seen his skill list several times during the episode and not seeing it. Not to mention the fact that Jack has way higher Magic stats and therefore does more damage.
