@brad You've mentioned it on podcasts a couple of times and it comes up again here so thought I'd let you know that touch screen controls were patched into the Switch version of Into the Breach. Still never made it to ipad as far as I'm aware though if that's specifically what you're curious about.
@vinny Sure your list is way too long already but as the resident Virtue's Last Reward expert at GB you might want to dive into Paradise Killer, a fantastically weird detective adventure featuring cosmic demons, an immortal skeleton bartender and a lot of vaporwave. It doesn't spoon feed you clues but stays the right side of obtuse and it's not overly long. I'd say it was maybe my most enjoyable 'out of nowhere' game of this year.
@riv3ntThank you so much for clearing that up for me, because I don't really know Serious Sam and I definitely heard something like "qu**r" and really couldn't parse out what it was supposed to be (just desperately hoping it wasn't what I thought I heard). Happy to know this game is just bad, not wierdly homophobic.
I don't feel super comfortable with @benpack going as far as bringing up the spectre of match fixing around the Smash 4 finals. CaptainZack is 16 years old and Lima is 17; they were relentlessly booed and heckled throughout the entire tournament by grown-ass adults just because they play Bayonetta (CaptainZack has claimed in the past that he's received death threats - because of the damn Smash character he mains). Maybe the way they reacted in grand finals was a bit childish, but they are literal children and putting all of that on them without any accountability for the way they were treated feels pretty terrible.
@vinny If you think recruiting all of the characters makes Zangetsu a bad demon hunter you can choose not to talk to them and you won't take them with you, or if you want to really bed into the RP you can attack them...
