An amazing story and world filled with a unique, diverse cast of characters
Fucking outstanding soundtrack
A ridiculous amount of stuff to do, over 40 side quests, and they're infinitely more interesting and fun than any side quests I've ever seen in any other open world game, in fact they're better than any side quests I've ever played, if only for some of the dialogue and character interactions.
A fucking fantastic sense of humour
Collectibles! Do you have any idea how much is in this game? Forgetting the trading cards for a moment (of which there are more than 50), there's SO many other things to see and do and find in DP, it's incredible, did you know there's a flamethrower? A kickass RPG? An infinite Grass Cutter? This is literally my favourite thing about the game and if you can't appreciate it then there's something wrong with you imo. It's a game that has SO much, but doesn't really broadcast it in the way that so many other games do, DP simply invites you into its world and let's you loose to see and do and find whatever you like, and the number of things they put in the game is staggering to anyone who has played it and discovered some of the unlockables and secret easter eggs. A fast travel system, a weather changing system, infinite weapons, badass suits, invincible cars, and so much more all to literally go out and find for yourself!
I've played the game through twice and can see why some people watch the ER and listen to the commentary about how much the GB guys think it sucks, and then think it's hilarious to come on the forums and start with the "lol DP is so bad!" crap, so whatever, if you're gonna form such a harsh judgement without even playing it then go ahead, but when you actually sit down and play the game, imo you're honestly treated to one of the best experiences I've had in gaming in recent years. It's absolutely pathetic though that so many of you can look at some screenshots or gameplay of it and call it bad, this is the state of gamers today, we're treated to such gorgeous graphics, and refined controls that let us perform the most complicated actions at the press of a button, and such crazy amounts of handholding in virtually every game that you barely have to put any damn effort in these days, the likes of Uncharted and Mass Effect are more like semi-interactive films than video games, so when you're actually presented with something that takes a bit of effort, something that doesn't look amazing and doesn't let you get headshots effortlessly and doesn't let you have nitrous and perfect handling in cars then you scorn it. Maybe that's part of the reason I love it so much, it's a real gamer's game, it takes me back to the days when games were more than a sequence of set-pieces and you had to work to get through it and you never knew what you were going to find next. We all have opinions OP and if yours is that DP is a bad game then whatever, but you have no right to tell others how they should feel about it, the game is fucking fantastic in my opinion, it has its flaws like any other, but there is literally so much to love about it, so much to see, so much heart that the developers put into making the world such a fun place to be, that there are times when you truly never want to leave Greenvale.
It...it has levelling? 0_0 Fucking hell Infinity Ward, this is what you started with CoD4. Still, can't say I'm interested, nothing to do with it being a 'casual game', a term that frankly pisses me off, I've just never really cared for that classic 'Match some coloured things to make other things appear' formula, aside from in Bust-a-Move 2. Good luck to anyone who enjoys it though, great to see they've actually added so much and somehow made such a meaty game from the simplest of concepts.

On-topic, well it's very easy tbh, first do the obvious ridiculously evil/scary places (where Satan lives, where dead bodies are, etc), and then have a think about some scary towns from Survival Horror, if you really get stuck, as I did on my last one, just go on something like the Resident Evil franchise page, click on locations, and have a look at the list there to point you in the right direction.
It never hurts to think of the place ravens might call home too.
