My thoughts exactly. Listening to Austin challenged me to think about games from critical angles beyond “is it fun” or “is it well made?” He really elevated the discussion to try to articulate the connections to culture and society. I’ll certainly tune in once his project at Vice gets launched... what a coup.
There's something nice about refreshing my podcast app just as I'm about to leave work, seeing it's been posted, downloading it as I walk to the train, and enjoying it on my one hour train ride home. Fingers crossed that happens again today!
Had never heard of Eurovision prior to the mention on the Bombcast. Forgot about it, then happened to see Drew’s tweet today when it went live. Tuned in “for a couple minutes” to check it out.
I’m at 190s, playing 15-30min/day. It’s all I can handle. Today I was ready to quit and thought I’d been playing for half an hour. Checked the Steam clock. 9 minutes.
