This is a DOOM/Overwatch/Hitman year and nothing else will come close.

Hm, I use Firefox and have the normal, non-bolded font, so maybe it's another factor at work? I'm using the Black GB theme instead of the white, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Also, this will definitely take some getting used to. They're not bad, just weird.

Hmm, interesting. This is a pretty standard install of Firefox afaik, but I'll poke around my settings and see if something's going on at this end.

Hold on, how can Fallout 4 be Best of Show but not Best Console Game? I mean, if it's the best game, it's also the best console game, right?

I literally had a whole sub-point about this thing, but Jeff let me know that it was only running on PC at the show, which explains the voting.

Just wondering, was it a dev-guided demo with the "we'll let you wiggle the analog stick so you know it's gameplay" thing?

Sure, go get paid for your hundreds of hours of effort, but I can totally see mod developers move to pouring their work into silos that share nothing with any other content. A lot of the collaborative atmosphere that has defined this particular modding community will be lost as creators go get some of that workshop money.

I do wonder how the SKSE guys feel about the Wet & Cold dude making money off their hard work because nobody considered monetisation when they used the MIT license. Back then, making money off mods was a good way to get a visit from Bethesda's legal team.

I seem to remember reading that the Thief team wasn't necessarily the same as the Deus Ex one. I've no doubt people moved around (it's the same office AFAIK), but the core DE team was not substantially involved with that game.

Also remember they announced the engine quite a ways back. I wouldn't be surprised if this game is in full development and about a year out.
