I think the difference is that the people in No Russian were innocents, non-combatants. The guy in Numbers was far from an innocent. I hope both were designed to provoke thought.

I too found it unsettling.

I'm quite sure because it was far more personal than killing the "faceless" bad guys at the end of the gun barrel.

I thought it was Treyarch's "No Russian" moment, though not near as emotionally trying for me at least.

I enjoyed all of the campaign, save for the down-hill battle in Vietnam.

I particularly loved the level with Soyuz 2.

Almost every game that has driving uses the right trigger as the accelerator....

...not sure how many times I deployed my RC-XD and hit the right trigger to get the little thing moving.

@beatlebrainiac:  I won't argue the morality or immorality of my choices as a parent. But should I see you online (if you're on Live) and I were to report you, I have the MS Code of Conduct on my side.

@beatlebrainiac:  I guess I missed the part of the multi-player where someone was tortured with glass in their mouth. I guess you also missed the point.

@beatlebrainiac:  Actually the first adjective is funny. I enjoy funny. I often enjoy crude, vulgar and salacious. I also enjoy Microsoft's Code of Conduct, it helps make XBox Live a mostly safe place for my kids. If you don't like Microsoft's Code of Conduct perhaps you should find another online gaming service that has a Code of Conduct that fits your values.

My XBox Live motto is "I Know I Suck"

My K/d is currently something like 0.66, but I'm having a heckuva good time. Some of that is because I've gotten to play with all three of my sons which is a new thing (split screen + multiple live accounts is very very cool).  Some of that is because the maps are fantastic, and some of that is because of the unlocks and ranking system.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but the crude ones, the spurting penises, the vaginas, etc. and the Nazi and SS logos will all get you both a quick report using Treyarch's reporting functionality and a report using Microsoft's complaint system.

You think you're funny, you think you're clever. In reality you're not.

@kenya24:  Yes Bungie did create a lot, but I don't see that precluding others from doing the same thing. How many Call of Duty games have we seen with little or no improvement? As to the beta issue, there was a beta for the first COD:MW and it didn't help a lot! I also don't see anything precluding Treyarch from having a beta for Black Ops, so I don't see that as an excuse.
