@ahifi: Well said, the good games will start to pick up next month with Nioh 2, Persona 5 Royal, RE 3, FF7 and Last of Us 2. Call me crazy but I prefer QL's with Vinny in them, I was hoping the lack of QL's from East meant they were busy recording Mass Alex but I have a bad feeling its not going to happen its been so long since they ended 2.
I'm not against the content itself I just find solo streams to be boring. For me personally the fun of Giant Bomb is the interactions of the group. Solo streaming just seems low rent like any old Youtube streamer. Which again is personal taste, but It's just not my cup of tea. Even if everything about this was the same but Vinny or Alex, etc were there to just ask questions and enjoy the fun of the game with you I feel like it would be much more interesting (for me). If something fun or funny happens on a solo stream it's missing the fun of everyone seeing and reacting to it together. Imagine if the Kerbal project Beast had just been Vinny. Would it be fine?.... Sure. Would it be as good as Austin yelling VINNY!!!? not for me at least.
I think it's important to keep in mind that solo streams like this are intended for when people have a little free time and aren't going to supersede bigger shows. It's obviously perfectly fine to prefer multi-host shows (I would suspect that most people do like more hosts, honestly), but if I'm at home and want to play some Magic with community members and archive it, we'd obviously never cancel UPF for something like that. So this is simply more stuff which hopefully can be seen as a good thing in general even if it's not personally for you.
Destiny 2 is definitely one of the best-feeling shooters I've ever played and it's hard to stack up against it in that regard. But I still really, really love Div 2 and I'm definitely looking forward to the new expansion!
I found the story in this easier to follow than most arpgs and it wrapped up at the end while the time skip gives you something to do for endgame stuff. I played it mostly offline, and did run into a bug where my progress got reset, but was able to edit the save file to fix that since I was offline. If I was online and couldn't do that, I probably would have stopped playing.
@rorie you should be using all the skill orbs you find even if you don't ever plan use the skill. If you re-use a skill you already have, assuming a monster dropped it and you didn't buy it from the vendor, you get 100 of the essence instead of the 10 you get from selling it.

I think I did a limited draft with @thatpinguino a while back; it's probably in one of the older archived videos on my youtube? It's not one of my strengths but I'll cash in 5,000 gold for some gems anytime!
@rorie - I just want to say how happy and pleasantly surprised I am to see this video on GiantBomb. I got into MTG during the Christmas break and am absolutely in love with the game (I play both paper and Arena).
Looking forward to seeing more streams and hopefully getting some matches in against ya! (I kind of stink but I still have fun)
