"i'm replaying Assassin's Creed right now, and it actually doesn't bother me that all the cutscenes are unskippable.  They have a tiny feature where you're able to move Altair around  a small area while he's talking with somebody.  At one point, I found myself unknowingly making him pace in a circle, then stopping when it came time for him to speak.  It just felt very natural.

I always found myself pretending i was a character from days of our lives, and turning away sharply from the other characters as he starts speaking. Hilarious.

id say about 80% self-propogating.

Take the gap between the halo, cod4, gta and gh. To other games for example. Once the word is out these things grow by like an extra 50% in sales.

The majority of people like to be told what they should think is good.

its sad really.

Why the hell hasnt  anyone mentioned call of duty 4.

The first game i've seen to bring enough production value to rival a movie.

The game has no cut scenes and is told through the players view. Is this your perfect game? Its seemingly everything you decribed without actually mentioning it.

Do chick pants and long hair lead to suicidal thoughts, or do people express those thoughts through terrible fashion?"
I had some pretty rocky teen years. And i never dressed like a fag over it.
I never understood the hair and clothing fads.

I was listening to the band thursday a good few years before they were popular. But I never felt i had to wear tight pants and grow a fringe ffs. If anything that shit turned me away from the band for not wanting to be identified with those people.

I guess some people just need to be led.

"Mega Man 2 on the NES is widely considered to be the most beloved of the original games, and is the MM9 devs inspiration.  There's so many spinoffs now, though, it rivals Mario's output.  There's everything from grid based tactics games to collectible card games."
Ok thanks.

I just bought one of these off ebay and I just checked the games list and it comes with it. :)

Or the rest of the world is smart enough to recognize the best stuff and stick with it.

To be honest i think alot of the "suicidal teens" thing at the moment is a bit of a fad, It basically came in with the popularisation of "emo" bands.

Its a resurgence in greater numbers of the whole goth fad which happened in the early-mid nineties.

Most teenagers are impressionable as fuck. And with the rise of broken homes and kids without fathers of the last 15 years, not to mention the castration of most men into office jobs.
As well as men bashing in the media, with the help of advertising becoming targeted more towards women.

Young men are looking for father figures and not getting a hell of a lot. When the lead singer of My chemical romance becomes a father figure you know a kids in trouble.

Some of the best adjusted teens, seem to be those that spend more time around older men, doing manly stuff. Which is why i think joining clubs and doing sports, or getting a job where you have that interaction is the best solution most of the time.

There is a movie from the 80's i think which features christian slater and winona rider, which looks at suicide as a fad, can anyone remember what this is called?
