@octaslash: What is this slander, James Woods is great. I went to look and see if there was some recent scandal I missed involving him, but it looks like he's just using his twitter account to help out some random user who was feeling suicidal. Not exactly the trademarks of a piece of shit.

I want a UPF that's just Rorie alone in a room with a spotlight on him, speaking whatever comes to his mind for an hour. I think that would be art.

I love seeing the weird "games" that people get away with selling on steam.

There's clearly no malice behind their jokes , the GB crew has always proven to be understanding and kindhearted. Occasionally their bound to stumble into sensitive topics where their out of their depth and lack the experience or knowledge to finesse their way around a conversation without potentially upsetting someone. I don't think they should have to walk on eggshells when it comes to these topics. Their jokes are never pointed or aimed to belittle or make light of other's experiences, and while some of the comments in this quick look illicit some anger in me, that's only my own jealousy of them getting to live life without having to really understand what it's like to not trust your mind. In the end their just trying to make an entertaining video and I wouldn't want to put a damper on that, by asking them to meticulously navigate a minefield of my own and others personal sensitivities.

@trivitaal: Sorry crusade was the wrong word to use, I didn't mean to call you out. I agree with you that it's an admirable goal, I guess I have just given up on that ideal after so much time trying to convey my personal experiences in ways that other can understand and consistently failing to do so. But I'm glad that there are people still trying and I don't want to discourage that. The game actually seems to do a decent portraying what it's like to have auditory and visual hallucinations, with some stylistic embellishments of course.

"Brad and Jason are joined by the voices in their heads to do a little puzzle-solving and sword fighting."

Ah yes, funny jokes about mental illness. This is disappointing.

Sounds more descriptive than anything. It's just a tagline to sum up the vid and they're typically lighthearted anyway. I wouldn't take it so seriously.

Making lighthearted quips about psychoses isn't what I come to expect from Giant Bomb. It's a subject that should be taken seriously.

I'm sorry if you feel that way. I think I have my issues but have never had them professionally looked at; still so far don't personally feel they have done anything really offensive but maybe I'm not in a position to know or feel that way. I would PM @brad/@unastrike maybe if you felt they treated it insensitively, if only to get their perspective and clear the air.

As someone who has PTSD and schizophrenia I don't find anything offensive about the video tagline. I'm sure that there's no ill will behind it. One thing I've learned from decades of suffering from mental illness is that there's no point in crusading against public opinion of mental illness, it's just something that is impossible to understand or empathize with if you haven't lived it.

The constant save scumming really takes the fun out of these.
