@Senno: Well, people who have a Wii-U is wider than the previous "Noone will ever see this game" audience that they had previously. Do you want Nintendo to pay the money for them to make a 360 and PS3 version as well?

I didn't suggest that, thats not what I meant. I guess I'm more upset about Rayman Legends exclusivity. Ubisoft is publishing there and I see nothing that can't be ported without a little extra work. Like I said, Im glad that Bayonetta 2 is getting made, and good on Nintendo for making the game a reality, but I just wish that it didn't have to go to the Wii U when the other title was multi-platform and was able to reach a wide audience. I hope that the game isnt completely exclusive and that it is only time exclusive.

Hail all,

And here I am! Yay for me! Been on Comic Vine for a while but it's gaming which is my nerdier hobby. I've had just about every gaming system known to man (and woman!) for the past twenty years and I've played just about every genre there is. I'll give anything a try, and I'm always scouring Steam or some other game portal or store for the next big thing. I'm mostly an old school fan, as you can tell from my profile, and I absolutely love Pac-man and Futurama. Fry is definitely me - hence my profile picture.

Cheers,

Senno.

I wouldn't go so far to say that I hate Nintendo for making this exclusive, or to Platinum for making the game an exclusive, or even to Sega, who passed on a prject and instead decided to fund some other projects...

What I can say is that Im disappointed. I have no interest in a Wii U, and yet 2 game series that I really enjoy that were previously multi-platform are now beheld to a complete unknown. I'm talking of Rayman and Bayonetta.

But what really galls me is that the people behind said game then state they want that game to reach a wide audience. I just don't see that with their current development plan.

"Bayonetta is a brand that we want to see become stronger, reaching the hands of more and more gamers..."

Platinum CEO Tatsuya Minami.

If that is truly the case, why bring the game to a system that isn't even out yet, doesn't have a built in fanbase, and won't be able to reach as many people as you would if you released it on the systems that the first title was on? Answer me that Platinum.

Sorry, are you guys not satisfied that you now know that within a few weeks a lot more info on GTA will be known?

That's hardly new info. If I were Rockstar I'd be sure to keep people in the loop about the game. Especially as the Holiday season is upon us and mountains of games release. Keeping GTA V relevent would be easy, as there is certainly a lot of people anticipating the game. So bringing out more info is the easiest way to do this, and with their recent crop of screenshots showing off the game plus some quotes from the developers saying that more will be shown soon - you are hardly telling us anything new.

I dont know about this. I've been let down by Obsidian on several ocassions and the Kickstarter video and description didn't go into great detail. Is it voiced for one thing? The price seems reasonable but we see nothing of the game or the story and taking a leap of faith on a developer who is spotty at best gives me concern. I hope they update the page and we can see what will come.

I absolutely hate the auto play on the video ads. I have only a small internet cap that is always raised by crap like that.

Good on you for standing by this principle. It's a hard decision to make - but it is the right one. I know many players have exploited the Suicide Mission, finding the best way to keep the most or all players alive. I myself was tempted, but decided to keep to the ethos of Bioware's design, and let what happened, happen. It made the impact of my decisions far more meaningful, and it also made my game that much more personal. I weeped when I lost some of the people I cared about die, but yet I valiantly moved on - and it made ME3 that much more personal to me. My decisions not only carried weight, but they had a far reaching consequence beyond the immediate and I didn't want to wreck that by reloading and starting over. Life has no restart button and the game has clearly been designed to be experienced as one amazing playthrough. The Walking Dead episodic title from Telltale takes this even further, and I think is an even better experience for it - and like my playthrough in the Mass Effect series, I'm ensuring that I stand by the game until it's over - allowing what happened to happen and see how it plays out.
