Dunno about literally, but there are many games that I'll figuratively never finish. And thousands that I'll philosophically never finish. :P
One that comes to mind is Oblivion. I hate that I can't get into it, but the setting is just far, far too dull to me. I fear the same thing from Skyrim. That sort of fantasy setting bores me to tears.
@ShaggE: It looks shitty because of footage released this year. Animations look terrible, combat looks janky, and the whole island resort juxtaposed against 28 Days Later zombies is more annoying than it is scary. If they want to be scary, they should be scary. Bikini zombies chasing me down a sandy beach on a hot day is not scary, just tiring.
My post was just a joke aimed at gamers (myself included) in general. I agree, Dead Island looks crazy janky. Which is okay with me, since I even managed to squeeze fun out of that horrible Land of the Dead game, but I totally understand why folks are rolling their eyes at this being a budget-y Left 4 Dead Rising.

We at Most Gamers feel that Dead Island will be a fun, if hollow, diversion. Our expectations are not high, but we are interested enough to give it a try.
(This opinion is subject to change during Most Gamers' merger with Cynical Bastards, who feel that Dead Island is a shitty game made for "sheeple", like all games made after 2001 or so, but they'll keep playing them anyway because there's nothing else to do when you hate everything. But they won't play Dead Island, regardless of its actual quality, because they can tell it is shit already, having seen shakycam footage of the alpha build last year.)
Rock Band is my morning jolt when I don't have an energy drink (coffee rarely wakes me up. I think I have a high tolerance to caffeine). I'm one of those that gets really into it and moves all around while playing, so the blood gets pumping fast.
I should get a DDR mat to really get myself going...
So excited! I hope beyond hope that they listened to feedback on the first game. Mirror's Edge is so close to being a modern classic... it just needs a few tweaks to get there.
Platitude BS aside, shit's going to suck horribly for a long while if you take breakups as badly as I do, but when the weight finally lifts, and it WILL lift, it's a good feeling indeed.
