Well hopefully it won't be an issue, but if I get sued it would probably be good for publicity :) I guess the game is the same in that instead of a ball hitting 1 paddle its a see-saw, and instead of bricks it has balloons. I don't think that is enough to cause any type of issue, but I'm no expert so I could be wrong.
" Do you have the rights to remake Circus Atari? If you don't I suggest you drop all affiliation with it right now, as a precaution, and call it an homage instead. "
Circus atari was itself a copy of the original circus game. I'm not calling the game circus atari, it's just similar to it and all the copies of the original.
I've been working on remaking one of my favorite games (Circus Atari) for the ipad / iphone and I'm at a point where I'm not really sure what to do. I've built achievements into the game because, well, I'm a huge xbox achievement whore and I always thought it would be fun to create my own. I'm stuck on what to name the achievements however. I'm not really coming up with anything very fun or witty, and I don't want to just name them what they do.
So this post is to ask everyone here on ideas for names for the chieves. I'm going to draw little icons for them as well but I can't draw them until I know what they are called.
The achievement system isn't integrated into plus+ or open feint. It only exists in the game so there are no limits to anything.
Again the game I'm remaking is Circus Atari. It's like Arkanoid but there are 2 balls (clowns) and instead of a paddle they land on a see-saw.
Here is a screen from my game so far.
Here is a list of achieves I'm tracking so far. If you don't like any or you think of any good ones let me know.
