Their reaction to the darkroom and ending events are sadly rather lackluster. Perhaps my own fault for building it up, but the response to both of those were my most look forward to moment in this series and they barely seemed to register them as a "moment" at all here :(

I don't know, their reaction at 1:44:10 seemed pretty good.

@geralt: Yeah, Alex seemed especially bothered by that whole scenario. There was just something really funny about Alex yelling "I know what you're up to!" at Chloe through the window.

The guys keep to good balance of being emotionally invested, making jokes and being observant/thoughtful. I love the "team huddle" moments during the tough decisions. When I played through I didn't even think that Chloe was trying to pull one over on Max with the morphine shot.

I'm glad they took a break where they did. At least they had a uplifting moment with Kate, the beginning was depressing enough.

Geez, remember at the tail end of episode 2 when Vinny said "man..I hope this doesn't get super dark".

The tonal shift in the rest of the game will be interesting to see played out with the GBeast crew. From here out it's pretty intense emotionally. The places and situations they send the characters in are charged and I hope they can pull through before GOTY. The fourth chapter (especially the ending) will be something that can really throw your head off course until you process it.

The game caught me off guard. It seemed so "twee" and weird in the first 1.5 episodes, but this game can go to some dark, upsetting places. This is one of the few games that really got to me emotionally.

The soundtrack for this game is fantastic, they almost weaponized the use of music in the scenes they are used it. Going to have to get the physical collectors edition for the OST alone.

@ravelle: totally. It would not be right to play Life is Strange without Austin.

phantasmagoria 2 didn't really do it for me, but it was still entertaining. While I was a little bummed there was no LiS this week, at they played this for those who were really into it.

Kinda feel bad for the guys in this playthrough, I don't think they were prepared for where this game goes after the "fairly" jovial first 3/4 of episode 1 (Vinny seems to go into dad-mode a bunch this time). It was entertaining and it was nice to see them go through the episode and hope they feel like continuing.

I really want them to keep going, at least through episode 2. The guys were super on their game this stream, It was fun to see Vinny was super into the time travel mechanic. I really wanted for them to get to that FF:Spirits Within comment on the tv, and man was that way better than I expected:D
