So at first I was all like "shut up Austin this isn't a totalbiscuit video, nobody cares about the options menu" and then the game started and I was like "oh wow the framerate is amazing" and now I'm probably going to buy the game.
The 'most disappointing' discussion went completely off the rails at one point, with the crew suggesting at one point how disappointing a game is should be based on how the game looked at E3 versus how it turned out (it was obviously going to be bad so you can't be disappointed). That's a dumb way of looking at it, and ignores the fact that most fans don't have the privilege of going to E3 and getting to play/watch the games in advance. That said, I can't argue with the result even if I would have put Tony Hawk 5 in the top 3 at least.
EDIT: I'm still enjoying these podcasts though, and appreciate the amount of thought you guys are putting into your awards :)
The thing Dan is thinking about where they pronounce missile correctly is The Hunt for Red October. Dan commented on it in the Films and 40s podcast where they watched it.
