I've got Vista, and it slowed my computer to the point of being unresponsive.

Wow, that's great advice.  I haven't downloaded the DLC yet (waiting on MS to send back my 360), so I'll have to keep all that in mind.

"2. Also wasup with the support I mean I swear to god most of these people on XBL are retarted you can be pinned down right in front of them having your whole life bar drained and they still wont do anything I was constricted by a smoker and I was there hanging mind you not out of sight but the fucking genius who was playing bill at the time decided to go around me like 4 times before I finally died and FYI there were no zombies around...."

First, perhaps the individuals are new to the game and haven't gotten their feet wet in the multiplayer aspects.  There's a ton of douche-baggery in every multiplayer game, but you can't expect everyone to come into a multiplayer game with enough knowledge to be a pro right off the bat.

Second, I really find it amusing when people use such horrible grammar and spelling ("retarted" was the icing on the cake) while accusing other people of being stupid.  If you're going to make broad accusations and level complaints against the general populace of a game's multiplayer, be prepared to take it (and ourself) a little more lightly.  These are games - not actual missions into the heart of Zombieville.  Xbox Live has a few features that make it easy to note the terrible players and avoid them in the future.  Use those tools - and please, take it easy, huh?  These things are supposed to be fun.

Unfortunately, I agree with Endogene.  I've liked every Suikoden game to date (including Tactics), but this one feels less like a Suikoden game than a half-assed knockoff.  It's still a meaty, sometimes fun game, but it doesn't hold up to its brethren in the slightest.  There are no castle mini-games, very little character-to-character interaction, and there's just not many interesting characters to begin with, so the drawing factor of almost every Suikoden game to date is thrown out the window.  There's no real need or urge to collect every character, because they never really do anything compared to previous games.  There are also no unique runes or talents, no upgradeable weapons, no super-monster hunts, and perhaps the most criminal, no Jeane.  Heh.

Suikoden Teirkreis might be a great introduction to the series for people who haven't played one before, but you're better off picking up a PS2 and playing through the original five.  Terkreis is sadly mediocre.

I just purchased The World Ends With You.  This is going to sound like blasphemy, but I'm not really liking it all that much.  It's got some fun stylistic choices, but the combat feels pretty tame and the main character irks the hell out of me.  I love JRPG's, but man, sometimes I feel like they've been stuck on a few stock characters for about seven or eight years now, with a few notable exceptions like Suikoden 5.  I'm definitely going to keep at it, though, as I'm kind of hungry for a meaty DS game.

Wow, cool!  Sounds like an ideal electronic version to me.  I'm at work, but when I get home tonight, I'll have to check out that demo.  Thanks for the input, Diamond and Tekmojo.

Hell.  Yes.

I am a huge BSG nerd, and I'd buy a Guitar Hero just for that song.  Yes - I'd spend a goddamn fortune on plastic instruments just for one stinking song.  I am that big of a geek.

How easy is it to track the ball visually?  I picked up a dirt cheap pinball game on the computer a while back and was sorely disappointed to find that the screen always seemed half a tick behind where the ball should be.  Made it impossible to track the pinball.  Along those lines, how bright and easy is it to make out the pinball and the scoring lanes or pins?
