@thedavecoulier: Yeah, Barbie Girl should be almost the best song of the 90s (right after their superior song, 'My Mamma Said', which is impossible to find).
La Vida Loca is saved by it's sick bass line. Seriously - give it a go on good headphones if, like me, you've never heard it outside the context of pop culture osmosis (ie, the radio).
Rorie: Hates the current-day plots, wants to skip all the cutscenes to get to the murder faster.
Me: Used to think that the end of the Desmond storyline was also a perfect reason to never play another one of these, and that the newer games especially are grindy bullshit and exemplify the worst trends in modern high-budget games.
Recent me: Thinks Unity is rad because the movement mechanics feel good to execute and have surprising depth.
I recently discovered how much I like Unity, and since Syndicate looks like more of that, it seems worthy of some attention. (This is coming from someone who really does not like the newer games.)
