Man, reading about the production of the show on Wikipedia was a huge bummer. Red, yellow, and black ranger were all fired after they started talking about unions and crappy pay.
Billy though, poor guy, was constantly harassed for being homosexual. The wiki even mentions awful shit like conversion therapy and insults that I cannot type in good conscience being tossed around by coworkers. And despite all that, he was the longest-lasting of the original cast. Dang.
This is a must-watch video! Any time I'm even slightly worried by what other fans are saying about the direction of the site, Jeff comes out and displays his passion and vision for the future and everything seems OK again. Looking forward to future editorial hires especially, on top of more weird shows in the meantime!
I personally have been all doom and gloom over the last day and a half, but Jeff's unwavering confidence and enthusiasm gives me hope. Also happy to hear that the Bombcast don't stop for nuthin! Ride or die for life with Big Jeffrey.
So Burnet, TX at the beginning is pronounced "Burn-it". The locals will tell you to remember it with the phrase, "burn-it, durn-it! (durn-it = darn it = damn it in Southern accent)".
Greg Kasavin is one of those people who gets better looking as he ages. People like him get the last laugh because people who were good looking in jr high and high school often turn into monsters after 30.
Seriously, the dude is aging like a fine wine. Even with the stress of trying to run an ethical business in a decidedly cutthroat industry.
