@frobie: I just spent about 30 minutes on the app. I'm one of the Ultra owners. It works great for me! No quality issues, problems with older videos queuing up. Great job! I just went from a Nexus Player to this, so it's a sigh of relief knowing that I won't lose my ability to see premium Bomb stuff on the TV.

Only one more general question: Is there a way to view a feed of ALL videos posted? There are things like the Cuphead interview, mailbags, and other non categorical videos that will get lost simply due to not being attached to a "show".

Cheers!

@frobie: Yes, confirmed "Version 2.1 - Build 2".

RE: The Ruku Ultra:

Model: 4660X Roku Ultra

Software: 8.0.0 - build 3120-46

I don't have curl installed on Windows, but I can make something happen for you if you need it. I'd be happy to help.

@frobie: This build doesn't appear to launch for me. I just picked up the new Roku Ultra yesterday. The channel still in the store just crashes on start. This test build makes it to the splash screen before crashing back to the home screen.

@MrPilkington: In multiplayer, one person plays with the gamepad (RTS style) and the 2nd player plays with the pro controller or Wiimote/chuck (FPS style). The single player uses the Gamepad. Unfortunately, the 2nd player doesn't support the classic controller, which is a TERRIBLE DECISION, but that's how it is. We played with the Wiimote/chuck combo for a while, but it's a mess. I got the pro controller as a gift, and it's a blast like that. Still worth trying if all you have is the Wiimote/chuck.

One of my favorite games of the year. And it sounds like from yesterdays podcast, they aren't really torn on it. It almost made the "best surprise" top 3.

The local 2-player multiplayer is quite good, but you have to have a pro controller to really enjoy it. The Wiimote/chuck combo is clunky. But I had a friend over this past weekend and we played it for a good 4 hours.

I'm looking forward to playing through it again, but you're right - lots of people on the fence about it. If you like survival horror, I'd get it.

Mine is Sine Mora, gorgeous graphics, accessible bullet hell and a bat-shit-crazy story that made me want more of that universe.

I agree with that! It's a good shooter, but that story! I felt dirty reading through some of that - so dark.

I fell in love with "Thomas Was Alone". Indie games don't get a lot of attention anyway, but those little rectangles had more personality than a lot of fully rendered characters this year.

I have the original 360 racing wheel with the ball bearing mod. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_Wireless_Racing_Wheel It's in perfect shape - probably has about 15 hours of game time on it. I'm trying to get rid of my peripherals. :) Let me know if you're interested. I'd like it to go to a good home. $300 feels like too much for a racing wheel.
