I just got my laptop fixed after several weeks of boredom due to a stupid bloody virus ¬_¬ and I decided to check my regular websites such as GiantBomb. After logging on I saw a bombardment of xp numbers appearing on screen. I found this fairly interesting and a good way to pass time especially for levelling freaks such as myself.
I have read this "rat page" or whatever it was and it didnt give me any information at all just simply listed games involving rats... I remain clueless how to gain experience from these games. Are they just complete the games? Or die as a rat, kill some rats, take photos of rats? What?
And other than the rat thing, I am also clueless as to what other criteria in other games I'm looking for.
My main questions are:
What are the main ways to earn experience?
What is the basic objectives to meet this unknown criteria?
How does this system work? Thinking about it I'm assuming (for xbox 360) that is achievement related as I'm sure that this website is synced with my profile itself rather than gameplay objects.
If anyone has any help please let me know so I can start to work on levelling up.
Spyro and Crash!! When they hit the PS2 they both went completely downhill. I can quite happily play the old PS1 versions, but the new ones, especially the ones on the 360, make me want to knife my face and set my a** on fire.
All right thanks :) And no I'm not 10, I've just recently turned 18. That is not my real name, I've had it for a few years and it ended up as my gamertag, so I ended up using it for everything. Anyway thanks for the information, I shall check for updates soon. Thanks.
My conclusion, Impossible :( I have a similar problem in which my girlfriend doesn't appreciate how much time I spend on games. I've tried to get her to see the big picture :P But as it seems, it is impossible to get any girl into gaming unless they grew up on it. They may enjoy the casual, occasional game as you mentioned, Yoshi's Island or other arcade classics... But to get them into games such as RPG's, Shooters or Action games etc. You are going to need to plan to fail. In my experience it's hopeless =/
Right, I have just recently joined this site and I have synchronised my achievements from my Xbox Live profile to Giant Bomb. Since then I have, of course, been playing more games and unlocking new achievements, these new achievements have not been showing up on Giant Bomb. It's been a few days now so I'm assuming it doesn't update automatically... but I can't see any way to update them! It's moderately frustrating :P
