Uncharted is more scripted than Dragon's Lair but the rest of those games are pretty good.

Because it's a Japanese game, and Japanese publishers don't care as much about foreign coverage as they do for local stuff. Like Jeff has said before, most Japanese publishers have very weird relationships with foreign press and might not even send copies out.

If you're not running Boot Camp, I'd recommend running that if you're serious about PC gaming...or just stop using a Mac.

Either way, you're probably not going to be able to run it at max settings, but if you've been playing games on a Mac like I did in college, that probably isn't a huge concern for you.

I'm waiting a while before getting it. It was either get this or the Witness, and the technical issues kind of swayed towards the Witness for now. Down the road I'll get it for sure, but I can wait. XCOM2 always looked very similar to the original game to me, and the difficulty changes didn't sound too encouraging. I like a good challenge but I don't want to feel like I'm getting completely creamed from the word go. Also I guess I'm in the minority that thinks the entire concept of "humanity lost, now we're a small guerilla force that has to take the planet back" is completely ridiculous and makes no sense.

If you can't suspend your disbelief when you're playing a video game that isn't based in reality at all, I'm not sure how you enjoy any game.

What the hell...this is like asking "What kind of carbonated beverage to you like?" And then making the options Coke, Pepsi, Other.

We only think dairy milk is good for us because corporations who owned dairies have spent tons of money on marketing and influencing legislation to convince people we need the calcium and all that crap when in reality, all humans have some amount of lactose intolerance because our bodies have not evolved enough since we were cavemen to adapt to dairy or gluten or all the other stuff we think is healthy but is actually harmful.

If you think I'm making all this stuff up, I'm not.

@substance_d: first game isn't that hard its just that satelites are the most important resource in the game. My firat playthrough on normal i lost one country because i had no idea. Lost 10 soldiers early before i figued out how to play, after that its just patience

Been meaning to replay it but i'm self employed so playing time sink games like that tends to feel like a waste of time.

I've been wanting to ask them this for a long time, too, but I think in the end it's just a mistake they make a lot, and everyone makes mistakes. If I was a dev, I would be pretty upset if they said the wrong price on a Quick Look or acted like they didn't care what the price was because they didn't enjoy the game. However, they're free to do whatever they want. If you don't want to support what they do, don't subscribe. If you don't like their methods, find journalists you do like.

I hope it's not harder than the previous one. Haven't even finished that one because I honestly tried as hard as I could to keep as many countries as possible appeased but they still all ended up mad at me. When you don't know whether that will dramatically change based on your actions or whether it's artificial, it can be pretty frustrating. I don't want to replay missions I already invested 20+ hours into just because the game says I didn't do every single thing I should have.

@gatehouse: Just sell your consoles get a strong PC...not much reason to own consoles this generation unless you desperately need an exclusive.
