I am not very good at fighting games. I can't even do an Ultra or cancel move in Street Fighter 4 although I bought Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4 AND Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition...and the Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition Fight Stick.
I button bash and could beat some people by spamming the same move with 'the Russian wrestler' but could never get to a level when I knew what I was doing or learning all the moves. I watched videos and I still couldn't work it out.
I bought Persona Arena a while ago and played about 3 button bashing singleplayer matches then went online and got mauled. Haven't played again although it looks fun.
I have bought most fighting games but I don't have the dedication of being really good at them but watching good players makes you think about trying even if its just a passing thought.
I can only be competitive in some sports games but if you are going to be great at fighters you will need to put hours in and find a few characters and work with them.
Do you not think the game would have benefited from not having those long finishing moves. They are ok the first few times but seeing Green Lanterns move again gets old. I am not saying the game is bad but I think those animations play out too long. Thoughts?
Nope. I've thought about a tattoo on several occasions, but I can never think of anything worth permanently putting on my body. It sure as hell wouldn't be video game related.
You say that and I say to you - How about this.....
Star Fox... *fart noises* If I would think about getting a video game related tattoo, I would think of something not incredibly embarrassing.
And what is embarrassing about Star Fox's Slippy. Take a butchers at this. I think you might like it on your arm or leg or neck or just above your brow!
But I'm not 8 years old...
OK, well when you hit 17 it will look all the cooler. Old games become classics and what you will have is a classic tattoo when you become that bit older.
Think of people asking about it.
"What's the tat?"
"OH, that's Slippy from a little game called STAR FOX...know it?"
I play almost exclusively alone, even in stuff like L4D2 and Borderlands. Though I have found The Last of Us multiplayer compelling enough to play 50 or so hours of recently.
I do wonder if the bigger focus on multiplayer games and the social aspects of the systems in the next generation will kind of force people to play more online stuff to get the most from the games. Stuff like Destiny and Titanfall obviously will but hopefully there will be plenty of single player stuff for the more...curmudgeonly among us.

I think that might be an issue with these new machines. I won't ever play in a massive team on Battlefield 4 were I am communicating and carrying out instructions etc. I will be playing myself and listening and if there is any communications people are trying to make I will work as a team if they seem decent.
I'm considering a tattoo after I bulk up, but not a video game tattoo.
Really? Not even ONE OF THESE GUYS
As a 6'2 feet tall black guy walking around with that tattoo, nah it wouldn't fit me at all.
I see. What we will do is try a...(give me a moment PLEASE).
How about a full length back tattoo of this exact design. You could always cover up with a T-Shirt if you are not too sure about the outcome. It's would look super don't you think?
