I didn't look at them. It didn't feel right. Who put them online anyway?

I am not even American but that speech had me in tears after he said the word 'day' for about the fourth time!

The difference between Saints Row 1 and this is night and day. They are really doing their own thing now. Crazy cranked up to 11. You can't really say that it's just another GTA clone anymore. They have their style and have shaped it into something unique.

I hope that if they bring DLC to this game, they do a better job this time as that was about the only thing that let Saints Row The 3rd down.

They are very similar. I have played the DS version and got the 3DS game New Leaf not that long ago. It's not drastically different and I am not hooked on the game like some of the people I have heard about. Maybe I just feel too old to get into it now.

The appeal is the effect that the world has which is unique as it takes each day in real time and holidays and other events make it into the game keeping it fresh. You are reminded by things in real life that they are also 'happening' in Animal Crossing. That is sort of a reason to check in.

Basically you spend your time fishing, collecting, talking to villagers, improving your town by upgrading homes/shops/building bridges etc. A lot of which has been in the previous games. You can visit an Island in this one and view house designs at the gate of your town after playing your town for a while. You now make changes to the town as you have been given the role as Mayor.

I will switch it on from time to time to see what is going on but I don't see myself playing it all the time. I played it everyday for a week but then stopped. I ended up spending all my time trying to raise enough bells(money) to keep upgrading my house and other things such as building a bridge. The bells needed grew and I would run about shaking trees, digging and fishing but wasn't really enjoying it anymore. I was just trying to reach the next target, for the next upgrade. I think that put me off.

I will return for Halloween and Christmas to see what's occurring though!

*I wouldn't say the new game does much that the old didn't. It's like Mario Kart, they might change the track layout but ultimately it's still Mario Kart.

I would choose Driver SF as it is not especially long and I didn't have a bad time playing through it. I would rather not game anymore than play some of the other games on that list. So Driver SF. That is the more appealing one from my point of view.

GTA 5 has me curious, if it's as good as past GTAs I cant see myself being completely done with it by the time the new systems launch

I know. I think if the multiplayer is anything like the last GTA or more refined like Read Dead Redemption then there will probably be weeks/months of fun to be had roaming around in multiplayer. As I said before, its a shame that a game like GTA V isn't compatible with either of the new systems.

Q. How many of you will be keeping your current gen systems connected when you eventually upgrade to a PS4 or Xbox One, assuming you are moving on around the suspected November launch dates?

I still think there is some good games on the horizon for current gen systems (GTA V, Saint's Row 4, Killer Is Dead, South Park: The Stick Of Truth, Splinter Cell Black List, Batman: Arkham Origins...to name a few.) So although all those cables connected to the one TV doesn't sound appealing (or safe), I think I will either move my 360 to another room or keep about six systems in the one room.

It won't feel like winter this year with all those systems cooking in such a small space.

SECOND QUESTION -

Q. Are there people like myself who consider not buying games that come out in the months leading up to PS4/Xbox One because they will not be playable on those systems?

I am still looking forward to some of the games I listed above although I am disappointed that the Xbox One/PS4 doesn't support a selection of titles from the back catalog of the previous system (like the 360 did when it arrived).

Thanks in advance for any responses to this!

Motorbike. The only thing wrong with it was...could have been 2 hours longer. They should play it on TNT...for the next 4 weeks!

There isn't another gaming site like GiantBomb. That is why I don't pay money to any other gaming site. The content in the last week was really fun to watch. Game & Wario was first class on the Quick Look and then they went back to it on the live show which made me happy.

I would like to see a sequel to THE LAST OF US. I know we have only just had the game but I think there are possibilities for more stories in this world.

It doesn't have to be the same characters as the first game. Naughty Dog could show us another group of survivors in a location separate from the first game. That could be cool.

This game was such an achievement that I am really looking forward to whatever Naughty Dog do next and I was never big on Uncharted although it looked good.
