I know you guys don't like hearing this, but the old design had so much more personality and polish than the current site. Obviously the latter comes with time, but how far down the roadmap (if it's on there at all) is the general look/design of the site? From the font treatments to the shadows, gradients, etc. the old site was 10000x better, to the point where right now it feels like we're navigating a template.
On mobile the expanded sidebar menu doesn't scroll, so if I expand the 'Forums' nav I can't select anything lower than 'Bombcast'. Obviously this is going to be different depending on mobile resolution, I'm using an iPhone 8. Regardless of phone screen size, the menu should scroll if it overflows.
@sombre: Are you saying the the Forums dropdown rolls back up while you're hovering over it? It shouldn't roll up at all unless you move your mouse away from it. If it is showing this behavior, please let us know what browser/OS you're using.
I think they are referring to the behavior of moving from 'Forums' to 'Store', 'Words', etc. The entire dropdown/overlay disappears and is re-rendered. It's incredibly jarring to look at and isn't as smooth as a simple nav bar should be. When you move from 'Forums' to 'Store', the overlay shouldn't go away. The only thing that should happen is the actual content animate away and be replaced by the content of the appropriate tab.
I'm not so sure increasing the number of carousels to have 'Latest' and 'Latest Premium' was a great idea, especially when things like premium podcasts show up in both.
When you're on mobile and you expand one of the drop-downs in the nav bar, you can't scroll down to see all items. Scrolling acts like you're scrolling down the page and not down the menu. So in the below image I'm unable to scroll below 'Bug Reporting':
It's always been an hour ahead for me. If the current method of detecting your timezone isn't working (Or isn't very reliable) why isn't there just a profile setting for changing your timezone?
