It's such a shame they went back to the... outdated, graphics for the new Story of Seasons game, and it runs so poorly at that. The graphics in the Doraemon Story of Seasons game was SOOOOOOO good. It was the perfect way for them to go graphically.
I'd suggest picking that up instead on the eShop or if you want a physical copy, it was released in the Asia (not Japan) region with the English language on the cart.
At least this game looks both graphically and gameplay-wise MUCH better than that bootleg Harvest Moon title.
I've heard Natsume claimed they were going back to the drawing board with their bootleg Harvest Moon games (not sure if it was for this game or one of the previous ones). If THIS was what they came up with... Yeesh... This just looks like they heard Stardew Valley was what people wanted from Harvest Moon so they tried to clone it using free Unity assets and while building it they took all of the wrong lessons from Stardew...
I feel like I could make a better Harvest Moon game using ANY version of RPG Maker in a about a month.
@deadstar: My guess is because Blackthorne and Lost Vikings are puzzle games of a sort and to be able to see further ahead makes them both easier in an unintended way by letting you see stuff coming up that you weren't supposed to see and in LV's case it very likely spoiled some puzzles to be able to see stuff 'off screen'.
@admiral_crunch: As an Alan Wake fan I suggest you read every paper you come across and explore as much as you can because there are some really nice Easter eggs just for us.
