As I was writing my Persona 5 "review" on my beaten games list I decided to make this. Top to bottom, what Persona is the best and which one did I not play because I couldn't handle how bad the navigation was.
Of course, it's just a Persona-l list.
The best one. I love this game to the death. From the time frame, to the game itself, to the characters, everything, this game rules over them all. Can't control your team, despite literally every Persona letting you do that? Fuck it, this game is so good that doesn't matter.
I can't express how I love it. Once I remember it exists I just think about it constantly and want to talk to everybody about it.

Not quite as good as 3, but better than 4 and the most polished of them all. The style this game exudes is immense and feels really cool. It gets a bit bright though but that's more personal. And instead of shooting yourself in the head you can shoot the shadows!
Controls a bit awkwardly, slow paced but fun. Also it's very strange, light-hearted but at the same time dark and weird. I like it.
My introduction to the Persona series, watched the Endurance Run. Eventually played it myself after Person 3. I found out that this game doesn't hit me as hard as when I watched it and I dunno, I don't really feel like I care too much about this game as I once did.
After Persona 5 I realized this game, though has it's moments, is too cheery. Sounds stupid and I guess edgy? There's just something keeping me from liking this game so much. I think Persona 3 spoiled me. I didn't even beat this game myself because I just got bored.
It's still a good game and I love the memories I have but it just doesn't live up to the others in my eyes.
Eh whoops I didn't play Persona 2 correctly. I went to the second part. Either way I found out I probably wouldn't have sit through both of the games so I'm happy I started with this.
This game is old.
I played the PS1 version so I don't actually know how they handled the PSP one. Maybe they fixed the SUPER old feel of the menus but yeah as my experience goes this is where it fits on this list.
Has some nice bad voice acting. Certain voice actors and certain scenes actually sounded normal which was a surprise. I wonder how they handled the remake. I hope the voice actors found their way, I feel bad mentioning the bad voice acting. What's with old games and voice acting badness anyway?
Didn't play it. So yeah I did play it but not even close to half way. Navigation on the map turned me off real bad.
I watched this game in the end. It has a really good atmosphere on the first scene then gets a different feel as it goes on. The music is great as usual and it was cool to see what Persona was like before now. Either way this game paved the way to one of my favourite games of all time, and even if it's old as hell and feels that way it's good it exists.
