@Geno:  Didn't seem to hurt PSO or PSU, as the workload (what the mob is doing) was shared between client machines and the server. It was always a bit weird that I would damage a mob right in front of me but in my brother's screen I was just slashing away at nothing. :P But it did it's job and was preferable to lag.

I agree. Their current hardware has the juice required and already boasts games that are on par/better than a lot of DS and PSP games. In that light you could say that they already have a gaming platform much more successful than any attempt at selling the average consumer another "gaming console" or a handheld that only plays games (it would seem like a step back from their current direction, which is to make their handheld do as much as possible).

In a "what if" scenario, just to humor the idea, I imagine that it would be very underpowered, overpriced, comprised solely (or almost) of third-party titles like mini-game collections and internet oriented facebook style games that you can ONLY download from their game app store. It would have to connect to your apple TV device. You can only interact with it if you have iTunes installed. Here is why you would buy it: It would look like a little sphere, no wires, sending image to your Apple TV by wi-fi. Oh, and the controller IS the console. You just pick it up and move it around like a wii controller. This novelty and applauded GENIUS DESIGN would make sales roar.

If you missed the final match, you can see it here:
http://de.justin.tv/dreamarena/b/265584906

(disregard the wow commercials, just skip to the game)

For all the other games you can see them at honcast.com, but it's been almost a month and they still didn't upload the final, so just see it on the link above.

S2 Games has announced that old beta accounts that have not upgraded to retail will be able to play this weekend with the rest of us. (source: ingame patch notes)
Edit: They are calling it the "free2play weekend". :P Which sucks. But the game doesn't, so come on down.

Giantbomb doesn't let you post links to cracked game executables. But seems it's ok to post video tutorials on how to glitch out a demo and get achievements for playing it. Tsk. :P How did this get featured? This ain't news man.

@Truant19:  They just went different ways to make different games, I suppose. I'll only talk about the 2 I know, since I never played Demigod. Heroes of Newerth is definitely more hardcore while League of Legends attracts a more casual crowd. Also, Heroes of Newerth has a lot more polish, user made UI mods and a win/loss ranking system as opposed to League of Legends' XP/level up progression.

Heroes of Newerth is definitely the sucessor to DotA, while League of Legends is a completely different game. I recommend you try both.

And also, how come Linux doesn't show up as a platform? Highly doubtful that no one brought it up before, but still, thought I would mention it since I just tried adding a release and it's not there.

I go to the Credits section of the game, click Edit Article, but nothing happens. Help.

EDIT: Just saw that it's broken, nevermind.
